Good Lord, Patti is and was amazing! This is the lady in her prime. Saw her at the Curran with Mandy in Evita. I just have listened to them continue to be in prime voice, forever!

Hector: Lupone played Nancy on Broadway in a production of Oliver in the 80's that flopped big time. Still, it meant playing this role put this song permanently in her repertoire so we've got that to be thankful for.

I heard her do it in concert much better. She is more dynamic than the song. This is not so hot.

Thomas Albert I agree, arrangement is off. Seems like song is being rushed, this beautiful ballad should be smoother and done in such a way that it doesn't seem like she can't wait to get past it. I love Patti Lupone, she has a beautiful voice, but there are better arrangements to this wonderful song.

Love Patti, but not sure this is a great song for her. It's all about shyness and vulnerability and low self-esteem. Her personality is kind of the opposite of that. If Patti were this hurt by a guy, she'd go kick his ass lol. And the tempo here is too fast to express the emotion, I would say.

Scott she wobbles? It’s called vibrato. And it was written for musical theatre, do you have any idea how much vibrato is used in musical theatre? This was not operatic lol
