Oh no! This might not be the best to start with as it's a pretty advanced crochet pattern but you could definitely work up to it!

Just purchased this pattern .I want to nake it with the fingerings yarn ,but I plan on making more than one. I plan on trying the heavier lionsbrand mandela

Love this! Just bought it, for some reason i'm not getting the last puff stitch in the right place, after doing the same number of hdc as 1st 'side' Will keep trying, think it's a mistake i'm making 🙊 I'm using markeys end of each row and centre of middle puff stitch too. Will check out the cheat sheet now. 👌

I know what i didn't do. I forgot to hdc (and) mps in same stitch, so my count was out.

Glad you sorted it out! Getting the increases figured out the first time takes a minute but then it's quite repetitive! There is a tutorial video linked in the pattern as well ☺️

Hello! I just got three skeins of 100grams/ 462 meters. Would it be enough? In addition: do you think that adding buttons will ruin it? Love the project! :)

If my conversion is right each 462m skein is about 505 yards? So yes you should have plenty! I'm not sure about buttons! I've never added them to a shawl. It's a very light weight fabric so a button, depending on what you use, might pull and weight it down weird? You might just want to sew one on very gently and loosely and see how it works, with the option to remove it if you don't like the look!

this should work for non lace weight yarn too correct?

Yes this is one that once you get going you can go to whatever size you'd like really. You may want to adjust the gauge a little but any yarn can be worked in with a bit of adjustment!

Does anyone know a similar pattern for knitting?

Hi, I started the shawl but I am confused. I am on row 3, when it says hdc in each row before psc, does that mean to half double in the puff stitches and also in between them? Same for hdc in each stitch until center mpsc, does that mean to put a half couple into the puff stitches leading into the center mpsc? I did that and proceeded to row 7 but I am not getting 33 sts, I must be doing something wrong. I am not sure why I am having such a hard time with this lol... Thanks!

There is no hood included in the pattern but that sounds like a fun modification!

Oh, I thought 1. This was a tutorial 2. Cosplay ish wings/cape, not a scarf thing
