I supervised inmates at a prison where unwanted shelter dogs were rehabilitated. The improvement in behavior of the inmates was clear. The training of the dogs benefitted all involved.

That’s an amazing program. To give inmates a purpose and respect for what they do. They positively give of themselves and by doing so, help veterans in their recovery. All are to commended for their participation.

Hello Bob! I am a native Texan, and have lived in Germany now for more than six years. One of the programs I miss most is TCR. This particular KZread program caught my eye, and I could not turn loose of the stream of places you have been and reported on. Talk about ole home week - it literally brought tears to my eyes along with a homesick love for Texas. The Texas Long Horns featured a personal friend - Kurt Fuhrer! What a treat. We belonged to the German men's singing society in Dallas, and Kurt was one of our members. Every event included the Alp Horns and a small concert. Do I miss Texas - YES! Now, however, thanks to YT, you will keep me in touch. We are doing a Texas bar-b-q for our Bayern, German friends in August - hope you can stop by and enjoy the fun. Thanks Bob for the memories! ph

She is a Patriot. Amazing. Also, nobody that has been in war comes back like they used to be. I spent 28 yesrs in the Army as a grunt. Some deal with PTS well, some not very good.

Richard Duncan my daughter is one of the trainers in TDC, she cried all thru this Graduation. Her dog Kyle (solid black) went to Daniel. They all worked so hard to give these Veterans the friend they needed. TY for your support.

The dog was considered part of the family. So much so they buried their owners next to them 7000 years ago and these were wolves. Long before the domesticated breeds we have now. That's how much they respected and valued them.
