The golden age of high jump!
Gotta b honest, while they're ALL amazing but to jump 6' from standing position is more impressive than a 7'+ jump with modern style. Unbelievable to jump those heights with the old styles.
Awesome year for the high jumpers. Soto would clear 2.44m (8') the very next weekend in San Juan. Conway would clear another AR of 2.39m at the Oly Festival in Okla. And Patrik cleared 2.40m in Brussels.
Never has a 6 feet guy been called short as much in this clip!
The two giants
BOTH PLAYERS IS PRACTICE FULL, TECHNICAL FULL, STAMINA FULL AND STRONG................ BUT WINER IS WINER..........
His mullet may have held him down a little.
