I was a VP for a large bank. And I brought executives to Kansas City because its centrally located. They were all so pissed that it wasnt in a larger city before coming. But once they got here, they didnt want to leave. They all fell in love with the city. Were surprised that it was that booming.

You can't not love this man. It isn't possible. He's absolutely everything you want in a franchise player of *any* sport. To the deepest recesses of his heart he loves the sport , the league, his teammates, his coach, and above all, the fans who get to experience Christmas morning every time he sets foot on the field. And they all love him in return, not just because is such a great player, but because he such an awesome man. He has absolutely no hubris, and his talent is just ridiculous. I sincerely hope to see him fill a fist full of rings during his career, which, with any luck, will be at least a decade and a half long.

Reuben Ahmed how he doesn’t play defense when he led the NBA in steals in 2015 and ppl only says he doesn’t play defense because he’s switched onto bigger players but they never want to recognize how many deflections he gets and steals he gets. Even De’aaron Fox says his defense is talked about wrongly.

Me and my buddies saw Mahomes at a bar in Kansas City. He caught us filming him across the bar and he waved and said high to us. From that moment on I knew without a doubt that he really does love and enjoy KC and it’s people. Not even really a football fan but I sure as hell am glad that he’s playin cause that kinda thing isn’t too common in KC. And the people here love him for it!

It’s kind of weird hearing about the chiefs on in mainstream media. We’ve been such a die hard underground fan base I feel.

I went to school in Whitehouse with Patrick and it's pretty awesome getting to see him take his talent so far. He was an amazing QB back then and he's only getting better 💪 Dubhouse is pulling for you, man!

soi fon I’m not gone say he saved the team, we need to put respect on Alex Smith name, he saved the team, we didn’t have a franchise quarterback at all for like a decade before he came, now granted or best record with him was 11-5 but he kept us a playoff team, and even gave us a couple wins that we hadn’t had and almost 20 years, but Patty fasho elevated us, he has the potential to take us to heights that are in-fathomable, what he actually saved was our fandom, cause I could honestly see Chiefs fans (including) myself losing hope in the squad because it was like no matter what we do we can’t win

There’s our wonderful Texas Tech University quarterback!!! We so enjoyed having this young man in Lubbock. He is as kind and humble as he looks too! Love Kansas City now because of him! Thrilled they have a horse as a mascot but sorry nothing compares to our TTU MASKED RIDER!!! We put a full page ad in the KC paper with a pic of his college days.
