@@deemity7557 To be fair, his record in St Louis wasn't even really his fault. The team was terrible and the front office was more interested in moving to LA than building a team.
I'm so glad he's back in KC for years to come. "In Spags, we trust." Baby 💪🏾🔥
If not for Spags stopping the best Patriots offense of their entire dynasty, Tom Brady would have "only QB to ever go 19-0" and another SB on his resume. One of the greatest playoff coordinators we've ever seen.

I love how Spags answers these questions. He answers but does not give away anything. 😂
Chiefs have the best QB, best TE, best head coach, best defensive coordinator, best kicker, and so much more. How many superbowls they win, I have no idea. Would I be shocked if they win 10 with 15? NOPE!!
Spags - that’s a helluva top you got on. Need me one of THOSE!
Patrick said coming out of training camp that he wouldn't want to face the Chiefs defense in a game
Spags is the very best DC in NFL History!!!!!! He should be the heir apparent to Andy Reid!
Three-peat Spags! Here we go! Best DC ever congrats on the contract extension!

Greatest DC ever!
Great point brought up by pat, chiefs opponents in the post season represent the hardest path to the championship per opp offensive DVOA in the history of the nfl and held them to a combined 15.8ppg. Ridiculous.
Spags the goat DC. Beat the Tom and Moss and now went thru a gauntlet on the road with a offense that struggling.
Great interview. God I love Spags even more.
Spags already set a record for a defense coach winning consecutive Super Bowls Hopefully he gets another one
Can we get Spags as a regular guest?
This guy is a top guy
Spags that guy 💪
BEAUTIFUL INTERVIEW!!!
Excellent interview! I love how you all ask really insightful questions.
I know people will think I'm crazy, but I actually think Sneed is a more important extension than Jones for the kind of defense Spags likes to play. They're backend ability to man up and shut guys down is was gives them the ability to send guys McDuffie unblocked. Jones would be a loss for sure, but if he wants Aaron Donald money, I think guys like Karlaftis and Danna can pick up the slack. Then of course theirs Felix who didn't play much this year. I just think lock-down corners in a league where passing offenses have taken over are guys you can't let go.
@markb3786

It's a hard decision because of how outstanding Jones is at his position and how great the Chiefs have been at drafting and developing defensive backs, but I agree with you. They've got some strong defensive linemen, but they often blitz with guys who play the other positions anyway.
Great interview
Why is everyone shocked Kyle shanahan stopped running the ball when he had a lead in the super bowl. It’s happened three times now lol
Wow, I just love that insight that they look for guys with high football IQ and the fact that Spags said that Bolton is there “Mahomes “is fantastic insight. Imagine what this defense will be like next year.
HOF DC. No question
Fantastic interview
I sincerely hope someday Spags becomes the first coordinator ever inducted into the Hall of Fame. He's the only one ever to win 4 Super Bowls, and he's grounded some pretty stellar offenses on the way to those titles. In his 5 years with the Chiefs, they've gone from the worst defense in the league to a top-2 unit mostly by drafting guys that work in his scheme.
Great interview.
Yo Spags go that accent bol. Great guy!
Congratulations on having Spaggs on the show.
In SPAGS we Trust
In SPAGS we TRUST…..
Hes the reason that the Chiefs wins the Super Bowl. Chiefs defense are much better than the last 2 Super Bowl that they had wins
Pat...you are a very good journalist....i am not super fluent...but you are the best
The 3rd down at the 2minute warning and the 3rd down in OT were crazy... IDK how Jones was unblocked.
This man stopped Tom Brady and Randy Moss.... that's all you need to know.
Spags is the GOAT. Put him in the HoF
this dude deserves another HC job, he's been unreal in KC
Reid, Spags, Mahomes, Kelce, Jones and Butker are all now locks for the HOF.
Everyone harps on Belichick being a defensive genius (and rightfully so), but in my mind, Spags is right up there with him. Perhaps even better - he did, after all, stop a then-undefeated Patriots team in the Super Bowl.
Every year Patrick Mahomes is getting smarter and smarter. He's playing chess and not checkers
How 'bout those CHIEFS!
Agents work for the player not the other way around.
It’s crazy to think, Mahomes’ kids will never know what it’s like to wait in line for a ride at DisneyLand
In spags we trust
Spags reminds me of a smaller Rex Ryan-esk DC. That said never was a head coach, that never lead a Curtis Martin, pounded it/.run folks into the ground NFL style, have a smart, but light armed, journeyman-style, offense, with an all time great defense. Mark really is the modern day Trent Dilfer, with one less ring.
with 2 minutes on the clock, you know that the Grim Reaper Mahomes is coming for you
This dude will make you run through a wall
Hes gonna be first cord in hall of fame
🐐🐐🐐
Odd the Niners went with Bryan Hoyer in 2017. They had the #3 draft pick. Took DE Solomon Thomas. Chiefs traded up to 10 and took Mahomes. The media meatheads never talk about these disastrous decisions by the Niners.
