What will last longer - Streaming Radio buried underneath or by Radio Towers? Fiber will last longer. Radio Towers are on the way out in the next 30 years if not even less. NASA was very busy as well.

For the story, this guy is actually french and is living in the small town I grew up in. He's famous for making just ONE SONG : this one. This song made him rich. He actually lived off the song with royalties and appearance in TV shows.

I hung up my Cruiser roller skates years ago. But the memories of roller skating to this song on a Saturday night with my old girl friend at the rink was one of the best times of my life. Sharing a pizza, fries, and root beer float led to a romantic walk home to her house carrying our skates and every once in awhile holding hands and looking at the stars. That's what we did before smart phones.♥️

This is the best version on the internet right now. It's got depth in there. I was a DJ in an upscale club back in 1979 - 1980. I played this song all the time. It was a fun song to play and it was extremely popular. This is the first time I've listened to it in decades.

The first time I heard this tune was at the public open air market in Florence, Italy, Summer, 1979. Almost everyone there, young and old, started dancing and having a good time with one another. We need more of this happy music today.

Say what you want, but the Disco Era was something really, really special...............the music, the rythm, the discotecs themselves, darkness, flashing lights, the DJ:s singing and moving.......there you were able to move like you wanted, like a cat or a devil in disguise !!

I first heard this in 79, bought it on vinyl the same day (still got it!). Remember dancing to it in the discos in Majorca that year! This hit No.1 in a lot of countries but he never had another hit in the UK. Pretty much a 1 hit wonder but it hasn't half lasted, 41 years!! It will still fill the club floors today I'm sure.
