    Too bad they're all assumptions, Patrice is insanely unlikable, anyone who says "you need a finger in your ass" as a response to rant is a child. All he does is reach about the womans life he doesn't make a single valid point. i really dont see the intelligence people love to attribute to patrice, he just reaches 90% of the time

  • @May5871

    @May5871

    @@dooma3588 The fact that you say that he's unlikable because of his response is the exact reason why he responded in that manner. It was an outlandish response initially, but the conversation comprehensively proved that it was indeed the right one to start out the conversation. There were at least three logical things that he stated that she just completely ignored, because they didn't fit her narrative. She just thought that what she stated was more important, based on a racist belief system. You probably can't see his intelligence, because you share the same views with the lady that called in ranting about basically nothing...

    3 reasons why she was called out immediately as a racist. 1. She called in screaming while racism was the topic to Patrice. 2. She wouldn't have called in or shut off her radio if racism was brought up and Patrice wasn't there. 3. She is insinuating blacks don't work. This all happened within the first 1 min of her rant. It now doesn't matter what she says, she might as well hang up. The core point she had as I understood it was that she doesn't like that black comics always talk about race and she doesn't want the hear that. If she could articulate herself and have a discussion about it without screaming she might have got a word in, no radio show will take you seriously if you start off by screaming like that or any person for that matter. What she does need to understand is this radio show talks about EVERYTHING, especially controversial things like racism and Patrice was a great speaker on this subject, also great on conspiracy theories. Her ignorance is astounding, Patrice is on that radio show because it IS HIS JOB, he's promoting himself. His act worked for him, he made money and laughs and if she doesn't like it she doesn't have to listen. It's a shame I heard about Patrice only after he died.

    That's quite a racist presumpton by you: "She wouldn't have called in or shut off her radio if racism was brought up and Patrice wasn't there." so are you also as racist as him? Is that why you love him? (He's ADMITTED to being as racst as Ant on other episodes.) WRONG: "She is insinuating blacks don't work." Patrice insinuated that all whites presume that only Whites work. She never sad Blacks aren't working. but approx 35% to 40% of Black households have no worker (are 100% welfare dependent); that's ME caling out that FACT, not her. That's a fact; so are facts racist now? Are you a reality and science denier? :-)

    RaineTCG the problem with whites in discussions about race is that a reasonable person can see in between the lines and identify subtle racism, but you have many white people who don’t believe in racism other than the civil rights movement (hoses, dogs, kkk, Jim Crow etc.) So you end up arguing with someone who won’t even acknowledge the basis of your argument, they just deny it. It’s like trying to describe a circle in a math problem without Pi, it’s invisible mathematically but clear as day realistically.

    She is completely wrong about Patrice, there was WAY more to him than race. He talks about race because he grew up with racism and it effected him. His comedy was about everything, politics, relationships, sex, life and death, female nature, male nature, etc. etc.

    I think the problem with race is that whites and blacks have a cut and dry feeling about it. Just like humans, race is a complicated, intricate subject. I think Patrice is a person that had a better understanding of the intricacies than the average person.

    @Ed Corona Definitely. You could just tell that's what it was. Opie would clam up for like 5 minutes and then feverishly jump into the conversation and say "Lets go to the phones." He should have just known his place and rode off the success that the actual funny people brought to the show. But this is the guy who actually asks people if they like him.

    @Golden Knight Wrong again. The statistics are correct. But the research attached by the people who collect the data tell a different story. Stop talking like an uneducated buffoon and recognize Anthony for what he is: an entertainer whom despite being funny, is no more than an armchair sociologist who has very little depth of understanding of what he discusses. Patrice is the same way. Which is why they both sound so foolish whenever they try to sound like they know what they're talking about.

    Patrice is actually very fair when it comes to race. I’m a white guy that hates the left, but I’m with Patrice on this. People like her are proving the left right, and I hate that. Also, Anthony is saying he’s a racist, but he’s just saying what Patrice wants to hear. Look, racism exists, but it’s a thin layer most people have, which gets broken if they find common ground with other races on things like sports, women, work, politics, movies, etc. Of course there are real racists out there, but they are rarer than people think. I mean, there are probably “racists” that hate people that wear crocs more than they hate black people. But do they have an influence on the lives of people who wear crocs? No. Point is, racism doesn’t have a huge effect on people’s interactions with one another, and almost never affects a person’s life negatively. In order to do that, you actually have to go out of your way to be racist. And people are lazy.
