Agree with this, at his absolute best he was on another level to anybody I have ever seen. Messi is an absolute genius but Ronaldinho was something else, it was like magic, it didn't even make sense what he was doing.

All amazing players, but Lewandowski, Suarez and Benzema are better than everyone in your list except Henry and R9. Haaland will definitely get in that list very soon as well. People always underestimate footballers who are still around.

Ronaldinho - 2003 - 2007 or something he was the BEST, he came often from left wing but he was not a left wing he was a Nr. 10 - if you know Football you know what i mean. All players in his teams looked like his little cousins and he was the big cousin who played better than everyone. 4+5 = Messi + Cristiano, the BOTH GOATS. POST RONALDINHO TIME- They had several seasons with 40 - 50 goals just in the league, remembering Messi scoring several hattricks match after match. Before that we just saw that kind of statistics from Video games / football manager and couldn't imagine that we ever will see some like that. FOR ME Messi 51 % > Cristiano 49% more GOAT ;) because I love dribblers and Messi is a little bit more Successfull overall than Cristiano. Who will be next? Mbappe ?

Evra was right about Zuzzu. Some players are born winners and plays business football while some are specialist with contributions to the team. Ronaldinho still have no comparism in terms of magical entertainment while Okocha, Seedof come a distant close. Zuzzu & Pirlo were magical. The 2 Ronaldos are more of sheer energy, technic and self believes. Messi in his prime was a smooth criminal and we will never see another Messi again, I'm not his fan but a fan of football but that guy was unplayable and some of the stuffs he deed on the pitch can only be replicated in video game.

I still feel the media made it seem only two were playing. I mean, Messi has been on the receiving end of a 4-0 and that was against Origi and them. But he escapes scrutiny. Many top players graced the Ronaldo Messi era... There was Yaya Toure, Xavi, Bale, Suarez and many other performers.

It is so special how every football legend rates him so highly, and says he's the one of the best that they played with or against, but random dudes from all over the world are running debates whether or not is he overrated , better than Gerrard, Lampard, etc. Scholes is in class with Zidane, Xavi, Iniesta, etc. Way above Gerrard and Lampard and all the others English midfielders.

Tell me one rival in the UCL that city played that had the talent Madrid, Milan, Chelsea, Barce had back then AT THE SAME TIME. It's incomparable. You had to play more stacked teams back then. Football has evolved to be more cognitive than it was, so it requires more intellect on top of physique, but back then it was waves upon waves of teams full of genuinely world class players across the board. It's not just nostalgia. City is incomparable to anyone now. Back then there were multiple city-like teams, in terms of devastating players with various tactical top class managers. The best of Spain Vs the best of Italy Vs the best if England were comparable. Now it's not even close. best team in Spain got kicked out of the Europa League by a man United side who had their worst season in the last 30 years the previous season. Madrid were toyed with by city. Inter are not even close to what they were, Napoli are the best team in Italy and couldn't get to the final.
