I'm only 4 minutes in and I think this is already my absolute favorite of all your reviews due to the gunshots dubbed in for the security guard, but more importantly, reminding me of the "suicide" drink that I always made as a kid!

still amazes me how many random famous actors were in this film before they became famous also, this film has literally nothing in common with the original Angels in the Outfield film haha

In my 26 years on this hell scape of a world, you are one of my favorite KZreadrs. I have always had such a hard time sleeping my entire life cause I have swiss cheese brain and am probably stupid or something idk but thanks for making me laugh and kick my feet in bed when otherwise I would be staring at my ceiling. As someone who also suffers from "swiss cheese brain" I feel your pain. When I would go to bed I just couldn't turn my brain off. I started entering all of my ideas in a note taking app and honestly it helped me a lot because even if I never look at that note again, I know exactly where it is if I need it and it helps me to finally turn my brain off. That may just be what helps me but I figured I'd share just in case.

Distracted Nerd returns as strong as ever!! This one had me in tears laughing! Loved the Quantum Leap reference!

Ah 90s childhood baseball memories. I can’t for the life of me find the All Sport knockoff sports drink where the red flavor had a sort of carbonated taste. I think it was called Everlast, but all I can find is the newer version branded off the boxing gear. That and Big League Chew.

I think the idea with Mel was supposed to be that he didn't have anything to lose at that point but yeah I guess I never realized how badly that idea could've turned out because realistically he really should've given up a grand slam. Dude had thrown like 160 pitches, was visibly gassed by the 6th inning and the defense kept having to bail him out.

Love this film, even if it has its corny moments. The only part I call bullshit on is the owner wanting to fire Knox for believing real angels are helping them. I think most owners wouldn't give a rats ass what someone believes as long as they're winning.

Another Movie I've watched more then I should have. wow it is the same woman from I look back on it and it has so many dumb things about it that I can't help but enjoy. Like the Angel Signal. it's so Dumb. I mean on one hand he knows that the dude is going to die but he also knows He's Getting into Heaven when He Goes. and if Heaven is real that's like Best Case Outcome right there.

I loved a league of their own, the babe, I was young enough to still enjoy little big league, and rookie of the year....and I'm not even a sports fan....like AT ALL....still enjoy a decent baseball movie....but this.....no. this was terrible.

haha i recently rewatched this movie after decades and the nostalgia came rushing back like a warm embrace. to most its just another corny kids movie with a sports element but for me it reignites my hope for humanity and love for baseball. the belief we can, and should, have in eachother gives us the power to overcome any obstacle no matter how daunting. to anyone feeling hopeless and discouraged out there: you are never alone even if your mind tells you that you are.
