His versatility is unmatched. He has so many different pockets of music that he can create. Hope he received the credit he deserves.
Hitboy not having a tag early on makes him even more remarkable as a versatile producer. I don't like how producers sounds are predictable. Every singer and artist should have beats that are catered to their respective styles. Hitboy has given Nas his best beats to date in my opinion. KD3 is next level. 💐

KD3 is fire but those beats can't compare to the beats on Illmatic.

The timing of this drop was on point. I know Joe doesn't like a lot of guests and wants to stray from rap, but his interviews with artists are some of the best out there.
When the Patreon exclusives are ACTUALLY worth the Patreon subscription SALUTE JBP BOYZZZ 🙏🙏🙏💯💯💯
Learning about Hit-Boy being stuck in a publishing deal under Polow Da Don, very heartbreaking. I was wondering what happened to Polow. He went more behind the scenes making power moves. Hit-Boy caught my ear when I 1st heard Kendrick Lamar "Backseat Freestyle". His sound so different than his peers, more versatile depending on the artist he working with. He has a party vibe & soulful production. He on a sick run with Nas these last 4 albums.

@@KP-ec7mr lol stop it, its not like he had to work at a construction site or something, he was still a rich teenager eating lunches with kanye and jigga, just didnt have the extra 10mil that he didnt need anyway at 19, it was a hard lesson learned and thats it. you make your own bed and learn to sleep in it. im not a lawyer but reading isnt exactly nuclear physics. the fact that 90 percent of young artists sign deals they dont even read is their own problem its not like they are 13yo children or something when they sign that stuff

This was inspiring 🔥🔥🔥
As heartbreaking as Nip's death was for me as a fan, I hate that it happened when he was truly getting all the way in his zone. I feel like HitBoy was going to help guide Nip as an artist into finding his signature sound and presenting it to the masses. He always had songs like Racks In The Middle in him, but he needed the right producers to lock in with. I heard his progression as a song maker during the No Pressure mixtape going into Racks. I would've loved a HitBoy EP Hussle album. There was always something east coast influenced about Nip to me, and HitBoy clearly can produce the hell out of an east coast artist all while still staying true to his origins like Nip.
