Definitely so. All dramas need conflict. What I hope happens is that Pat and Pran finally figure out that their families and friends are the true obstacles to their happiness and "put them in their place" eventually and do what they want to do not what everyone else expects. Some of their friends seem a bit toxic to their relationship as well so hope they deal with that. Plus, Pat's sister seems a bit clueless, but that is kind of funny in the series.

I assume the conflict will arise from family and friends. So I hope the characters are able to stand up to that. Pran's mom is especially toxic and is his main friend.
