I just subscribed. Can you do a video showing how the cement is mixed? I like the way you lay a border using a concrete mixture in another video. I'm in the US so would get my concrete from a Lowes or Home Depot but don't know what type to get. Nice work.

Hi, I have done a video like that. kzread.info/dash/bejne/Y2Z51syQeaS7p9I.html If you're in the US this might not be the best way to do it though as frost will break the mortar pretty quickly. You might be better off doing it on sand. If you're in the South it might be ok.

Awesome mate. What bricks did you use?

Thanks mate. They are solid old reds, stamped Clifton. Made in Clifton Hill, Victoria. A few random old reds with other stamps in there as well.

Looks beautiful! Did you put down gravel or crushed limestone cement first?

Beautiful work! What do you recommend for areas that get frosts?

You would have to use just sand and no mortar. I don't work in an area that gets frosts so I'm probably not the best person to be giving advice on it though.

Can you share the place where you got these gorgeous bricks 🧱 please. I’m all the way in Miami and bricks are a solution to keep the patio cool in the summer

Thanks! I usually do a concrete berm around the paving that sits slightly lower than the bricks (out of view) and grout up to that. Or did you want to know what the grout mix is? It's 3 parts sand, 1 part cement.

4 parts sand, 1 part cement and some bondcrete. For the grout it’s 3 parts sand, 1 part cement.
