Great review. Ive got the complete aluminum version. Just ordered this one off eBay new , Pathfinder store sold out . Also bought there version of the alcohol burner. Greetings from Mississippi ,USA

Good kit I like my I set my up a lot using a Trangia gas burner by using 2 small steel rods to clip the gas burner on to hold it in place

Used both this and the swedish ranger cook set during my military service, preferred the ranger one tho, because it was aluminium and more versatile. We used the hook to secure the panhandle and reduce noise.

Good video. I've had the M44 aluminium set for a few years but really wanted a stainless steel version. I bought the Pathfinder version. Well made kit. Thank you for sharing 👍

Just ordered one, I had an OG SS one which cost me about £18 about 15 years ago which I gave away to a freind a few years back (I also paid £8 foran Alu one at the same time) , so when I was looking online for an replacement and to see they now go for silly money I couldnt believe it. Someone put me onto these repos and since they are cheaper at £60 I though Imwould take a punt.

I like it mate looking forward to getting out and using it on a camp, I have the og s/s and alloy ones they are going up in price all the time I bought a few of them a few years ago as I seen they were rising in price. ✊🏻🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿😀

You really favour alcohol stoves Wullie. The only alcohol stove I own is an Optimus Polaris that I got for melting snow at altitude. I’ve never cooked on alcohol tho. Good review great Jaffa cakes

I've got the Swedish S/S and aluminium versions. Good kit but heavy. All the surplus kits seem to be missing the leather strap that goes through that notch in the middle. That DC kit looks so, so shiny and new, LOL.

I paid 145.90 Euro's in total for the M40 Sweidsh Cook Set and the Alcohol stove. From The Netherlands. Its very expensive compared to USA where its much cheaper. Shipping alone is $ 60. I was left no choise to overpay to get it. I hope its not a piece of crap. Some people claim it is. I find the price-point ridiculous. 145.90 In total. No pouch. No fuel. Included. Nothing
