Yeah and then john will want to add more stuff, polish that, adjust current stuff in poe 2 and polish that also. We have to wait another roughly 6 months just for streamers to play the closed beta and easily 3-6 after that for anyone to play it. So Maybe this time next year at the earliest we might be able to play it....yikes.

genius in terms of pulling in all the casual controller andies. in terms of better gameplay, not so much. and unfortunately it looks like you have to use it now to be efficient. couldve also moved the camera over the shoulder and make a 3rd person game at this point...

I'm not sold on the WASD movement I hope they keep the movement skills from current POE (flame dash, leap slam etc) this gameplay looks kind of slow and clunky (maybe he needs a quicksilver flask) I'd go mad if my movement speed was capped like this.

@@ecMonify i find wasd movement very clunky with a top down camera as it only allows you to move in 8 directions. its totally fine in 3rd person games, where you move your camera with your mouse and therefore have unlimited directions. for an arpg its also even more stressful for the wrist to constantly hold down a button to move. i usually like that GGG is not afraid to try new things, but completely changing the way you control your character without asking for player feedback once is very disappointing to say the least.

Yeah.... I think D4 might still need another 2 or 3 years lol. Last Epoch and POE2, arpgs will be in a fun place. Hope LE and POE2 have nice and staggered seasons/cycles

The Ranger/Rogue has always been my personal favorite class in ARPG's, MMO's and RPG's, but I do want to see the witch gameplay haha. I will most likely have multiple characters.

I did the same. I'm fucking blown away by the ingenuity, and the explosion from the gas.

As a ranger/marksman lover, it’s refreshing to see a battle system that really gives a lot of mobility, AOE dmg, and customization to the ranger archetype, Diablo 4 wasn’t able to seem to get it right

I respect companies like this. They don't rush out the product just so they can get money out of it. They are taking the time that is necessary to deliver a great game. :)

the way two different skills interact and synergize each other is on another level I wonder how crazy will end game stuff be...cant wait!!!

Jonathan, what have you guys done? I’ve never seen a more amazing gaming than what POE2 is turning out to be. I commend you for the decisions you have taken at every single roadblock.

I've been looking for gameplay with a more "tactical" aspect rather than being constantly overcrowded/flooded by mobs, not knowing half the time what you are killing and using a single skill the whole time, and this looks to be what I'm looking for. Looking great so far, keep it up.

First of all the only time that it is possible to see the name would be while mousovering like when you see enemy health in the the top of the screen. Then they would have to make an UI for you to be abled to type it in which sounds like a waste of resources. I dont say it is 100% true that they will not implement this but it seems very logical to me. What we dont know about the mount feature is the way of implementation meaning: Will it be a skill gem? Will it be an item? Will it be locked for areas big enough for the mount? From kost of what we saw of the PoE2 gameplay there was only 30 secs of it which contained the mount so my bet wpuld be it is a skill gem (of course i cant be sure about it) if it would be a skill gem i think it will lower the chances for you being abled to name it since i cant imagine they will add some i dunno ctrl + right click feature for the skill gem just to open uniwue UI that wouldnt be used anywhere else in the game just to let you name it.

12:46 wait I just realised the boss is summoning Chaos, Exalt and Divine orbs as part of their abilities!

This looks so good, the way the ranger jumps over enemies and makes little jumps to shot arrows is something I like a lot.

i loved the elemental combination, poison/fire elemental reaction is so nice, i would like to see more reactions of differents elements, idk, maybe fire/cold could create a mist that could blind the enemies for a short time for example.

The attention to detail is just insane.

Didn't think I could be excited for some of the returning classes, but some of the new interactions with the bow stuff is cool, everyone loves combo stuff

Glad to see twin stick aiming, it's always been a smooth feeling control scheme. Anyway I sure hope there's a separate volume slider for the voice lines characters say during skills.

Multiple ways to use your attacks. Thank you. I don't usually go for ranged classes but this and mercenary are looking great. This will be my first POE game for sure, the last ARPG I played...which was also the first, left a bad taste. This is what I was looking for.

Notice the player's health gauge? Their health turned green when I believe he was afflicted by poison! Making it much easier to notice you're poisoned than trying to see things on your character.

Big fan of D2 Bow Amazon here, for the first time looking at PoE2 archer gameplay I'm excited about to play new aRPG, what a great gameplay, I was always dreaming to be able to kite and shoot at the same time, but kiting while riding mount I couldn't even dream about, just wow! Other classes gameplay looks insane too, huge successes awaits this game.

Since Victor Vran I've been waiting for a good arpg to implement WASD movement. I'll be playing the new game definitely. Take your time and make it as good as you think it should be. Hopefully, we won't have to wait for too long. I don't want another Cyberpunk 2022 or Cities:Skylines.

Question: Is there skills density animation in POE2 ? (like in D4 - more density when more skill level ) 🤨

Path of Exile has very few cooldown skills. Most of them you can use whenever you want, then when they do have cooldowns they're often not very long, in the 4-8 second range usually.

Attacks look really good, i think RANGER needs some way to escape when sorounded by a lot of enemyes or some awful situation, like SMOKE ARROWED FIELD or something like that, just a suggestion guys, regards.

It is so awesome that all reports coming in from streamers is that the game is difficult! Please keep it so GGG! It is fantastic that one ARPG out there won’t be a walk in the park like D4!

ok,i like how it looks,but the thing which bothers/scares me its that this ranger his almost 1 shot at EVERY step she make...that hp bar go down so fast its unreal,i think the dmg spikes which we have in poe will be the same in poe2 which suck.1shot and on death effects again.

You will understand what electrocuted is the moment you hit an enemy with lighting and they start going brbrlllbrblllbrbrbrbrbrbaaaaabrbrbrb.

Does anyone know if POE1 will have a graphics update once POE2 has been released? Game looks great and everything but I will probably switch between the two

Personally, I love the slow, tactical gameplay, but people usually cry a lot in D4, etc. if they can't kill hughe packs of monsters in the blik of an eye and rush through dungeons like on steroids 🤷‍♂️

The gameplay is quite cool but visually it feels like you're playing a mage. This won't be my favorite class but can't wait for the others!

I definitely think the Bosses need more HP. Maybe it's just how the video's are cut but It seems that you go through the boss battles pretty quickly. I've watched a few videos from gamers who went to the event and it was the same thing. Yea they died once or twice but then the boss just dies almost immediately once they got a little stronger.

Too bad its delayed but if its to be up to be an awsome standard well I can wait , other games are here but my heart is longing to play a true Diablo game for a while
