Thank you, Jim! It is a bit of a mouthful, so I take a bit more time to go through the text and have the pronunciation guide from The Parish Book of Chant to help guide me. It's fun to learn and try new things! Did you ever learn Latin, or try to read it?

I only know some Latin from some prayers in the mass. BTW, I recall you singing Agnes Dei and Sanctus a few times on the Daily Mass. My parents learned Latin many years ago, like others of their generation - it was a requirement in college. I have my father's Latin textbook and I do browse through it once in a while.

Good morning, Kathryn. That sounds very very beautiful. I am listening to it by candle light and this afternoon I will learn it. I have heard it sung before but I have never sung it myself. Did you learn Latin at school? I didn't. I opted for French and English. Thankyou for giving me this challenge.

Hello Dorita! No, I went to French school, but I studied languages in University which helped me with Latin when I was singing Vespers and Lectio Divina at the Cathedral many years ago. There is a pronunciation guide at the back of The Parish Book of Chant that I am using, that helps me a lot! Check it out: media.musicasacra.com/books/pbc_2nd.pdf
