Patching the cowl vent and scavenging the yard for parts to install the master brake cylinder.
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
In this video we work on welding up the cowl vent then move on to installing the master cylinder and pedal assembly. Then patch the floor quick and slap some paint on everything.

Working a day job, building a shop and still having energy to toil around in the garage and get stuff done, unbelievable. I wish I had half that energy, and I'm probably half or less of Brent's age...

Well said gentlemen 😂
Teaser, at the shears. That’s ok I can wait, because it’s built, it’s done and the next generation can enjoy it for years to come. Thank Brent and Esther for another Fun Sunday. Like, share and hugs for all.
Hello Brent, great to hear your going to be able to move in to the new shop soon. The truck is looking good. Give Pablo and Buddy an ear rub for me. Be good and stay safe. 👍
Cowl vents are the best, all my cars have working vents that i use all time
This truck is starting to come together very nicely. It's awesome watching you work.
Nice work on the vent. Love Pablo's mood change when you say 'treats'....ears pop up, tail wags, stands up and starts walking. The interior is coming together slow but sure. Look forward to more. Be safe and stay well.
Oh so close! The new shop is going to be a great Christmas gift for you!
No thank you Bud.You are one of the best Fabricators and channels out there and i know them all.God speed Can't wait to see you in new shop
I've always thought it would be cool to modify a cowl vent so that it hinges backwards, opening toward the windshield, and have it house a row of gouges. It could be electrically operated to open and close with ignition on/off, or wired to a switch. Great job on the truck, Brent!
Nice!
Minty ! Thank You for sharing your video, and letting us hang out . Later ...
Great job on that floor and windshield. Brent, it looks like you're moving to me at the end😊😊😊😊
Brent, it’s a real pleasure to watch you metalwork and weld! 👍
Awesome Brent .. commin' along , lookin' goood 👍 Superintendent lookin goood too 🐶 Thx for the tease at the end 👍 Blessings & KEEP well...😎
Hay Brent hope the new shop is doing well
That is great info on making your own brake booster bracket's I thought so anyway...
I don’t know why it comes to mind but something like the shape of the rear end of a 53 corvette incorporated into the back of the bed might look neat. 🤷♂️

.....I was thinking along the lines of the 73 - 74 model Pontiacs (Grand Am, Lemans, etc.). Those models swept back and down with the tail lights in the top of the rear quarter.
With a sander, grinder, and welder you can build anything out of nothing. Very good in what you do. Thank you
Looking good
😂you are too funny when you set that square on the hood part and said eh its a little off. 😂
Some great progress on the truck! Teaser on the new shop looks outstanding! Take care
The little shop is starting to look bare as the transformation takes place . I think that everyone has been waiting for this moment , however you will now have a huge job ahead of you organizing your new work areas . Can't wait for the big moment , till then , God Bless you all including Pablo and Buddy , Stuart in Ontario ..

Thanks for sharing 😀👍
You have great content and the music selection, especially at the 36-35 minute mark, just makes the viewing better.
Brent when you consider where you were after the fire, you are in an amazing position with it all. Imagine what the new year is going to be like, so it's worth the wait, Joe
Thank you for a great video
She is looking nice. Can't wait till move in day. Have a great week and thanks for sharing.
Looks great brent ..
It’s looking great Brent! Thank again for this.
Those little Milwaukee grinders are neat
curve of the trucks bed is reminiscent of a 32 Ford coupe! And your big move makes me long for the days when a few cases or at least a pony keg of beer lured in enough friends you could count on to not only move your stuff but do it after they'd used the purchased materials from your storage shed and built your new house to move it into. 😁🇺🇸😎
Hey Brent! The GMC is really coming along nice work sir! Can’t wait until you can get moved in to the new shop it will be so nice. Stay safe😀😀

Snow...only ever briefly lived & worked in that stuff decades ago. No bull, if you guys were any tougher, you'd rust. 🙂 Great video as usual. For me Halfass has turned into Essential Viewing just for the attitude to life & made better with the old car content & nothign staged, all authentic & down to earth. Knocking it out of the park everytime. Really appreicate you sharing your work, keep on keeping on

Count down to Moving In and yeah...its seriously cool to see a fellow have the joy filling his face & smile already. You seen light at the end of the tunnel & I'm sure it was a train a few times, but now...its just great to see a person rebuild after such are mongrel hit & rebuild. Wish you hadn't gone thru the fire thing, wish it'd remain uneventful & less stress but man...great to see where you are now. You worked seriously hard on so many levels to get where you are...there's no luck involved except the bad luck that took your shop. Everything since has been good calm focused strength with the support of good people. Winning man & you earned it all. As some say here "I dips me lid" (which means I tip my hat hat to you as a very big salute to you)
I enjoy watching the build, but equally interested in seeing how the new shop is coming along. Thank you for giving so much of your life so folks like me can be a part of what you do.
Awesome
Brent I would love to see you when you do the bed of the truck have the bed cover tilt just like the hood does. I really think that would look cool as hell when its done.
I used to Thank you were just another KZread Car guy, but you are definitely. An artist Can't wait to see the new shop
Thanks for sharing Brent. Take care.
We caught a peek into the new shop
Can't wait for you to get into the new shop gonna be awesome truck is gonna be awesome
I dont know if it's me or what, but watching Brents videos is like i am right there with him. i dont feel that way with the other guys' videos. You're doing great, Brent👍👍👍👍
Love it Brent. The truck is coming along. The Floors are great. Appreciate the video! 💯👍👊
I used 2000-2007 3rd row suburban/Tahoe seat in my 73 c10, they are very thin in the back. Also have built in seat belts and forward tilt. I snagged the color matched front center console as well. The fitment was very nice. Note the factory mounting holes on the bottom are offset, makes it interesting when mounting adjustable seat adapters.
Hello Brent, I enjoy watching your show and the truck your currently working on, I love the new shop.
Looking great Brent excited about the soon move into the new shop. God bless
Finally! Back together as a whole. You did a good job keeping it all together buddy. Kudos to you!

I always like those cowl vents I don't think I would have patched it over.
Excellent video Brent :) , Pablo The Supervisor Dog 🐕 👌 👍 and yes nice work on GMC truck project too also amazing that brake booster setup work so far thought maybe take apart for size is!
I used a ford ranger seat in my 52 and it works well and I'm 6'3".

It's coming along nicely. Looks like next one IS going to be the big move in. Really happy for you and Ester.
good luck with the move in
The Starlite truck is a beauty. You are right about shortening the box between the cab and rear fenders. 8^)
Very nice Brent. Fun video.
Glad you shared the photo of the green truck. You have a proven capability of conceptualizing and executing your visions, but I couldn't get my head around what you had in mind.
The pup's ears sure jumped at the word 'treat'!!!
Hey Brent, getting very close to moving in the new shop, looking forward to that video....Ralph
It could be nice if you cut the Window frame of the door of and weld it to the wind shield post! You get a nicer door and still have the channel for the door window. Love your work!!

After watching all of your builds available on KZread ( at least twice ) I can already envision you Rocking this thing down the road ! You're a Worse teaser than Puddin lol ! Can't wait for the new shop move Godspeed.
I know this sounds crazy but if you put the right fender on the left side and left fender on the right side so that the body lines curve had just a crazy thought
I think it would look nice making it your style like the picture
Good luck with everything and have a great festive season to you and yours from mine hear in WESTERN AUSTRALIA 😎🇦🇺
