Eli - I need a good practical networking book - I've been in IT for over 30 years but my networking knowledge is way outdated. Any suggestions?

What about patches for your network infrastructure? If that stuff isn't secure and patched, then everything built on top of it isn't really all that secure...

You are right. FireWalls, Switches and WiFi APs should be regularly updated too.

If you were just starting out in the year 2021 and you were 35 years old, what would you get your bachelor's in? Cyber security, Software Development? Or something else entirely?

Doggy.🐶 This patch management talk was really informative. Something tells me those bosses, literally don't like buying new hardware, because of updates.😂 Question: In the case of the "main server," wouldn't it be better in some cases, to ditch the patch management software, and instead install updates one by one on that server, so in case anything goes wrong, you could easily have an idea, which update is causing the problem, and uninstall it?😃
