For a game more than a decade old, it still feels fresh and enjoyable up to this day, really.

I still remember how it takes 3 ‘pata pata pata pon’ to find an enemy in the screen and how it literally took me a year to finally understand the beat of Summon.

The game my highschool friends and I went crazy for back in 2013, crazy to think its already been 8 years since then. We were a group of 10-13 iirc and played a lot of vs with each other for fun, cleared dungeons together, help out each other levelling up heroes to unlock all the classes. Man so nostalgic - in fact, I have downloaded the PSP emulator on my PC and played the third of the series, Patapon 3 (my personal fav). Currently struggling getting past through one of the early "stuck zone" because now I'm playing solo

Such a hidden gem. This is the only series that I’ve actually bought every single sequel.

Rip all bois with PSP 1000 series that couldn't play online ;(

Tip#1: No lasers are paiful they can direct penetrate walls,rocks,and etc. Tip#2:Lasers can attack in near enemies or far. FinalTip:Lasers has a chance to strike that the cannogabang with no damage Example:The Racing,The Range of missiles

I have all 3 in hd on my phone and am looking forward to getting right into these games :)

You do know you can download PSP emulator on PC or mobile right ? Iirc something called "PPSSPP" and you can search for the patapon original series (1,2 or 3) and open it through that emulator. Game works similar except back then I see the graphics as God-tier but now just decent level probably because its been a decade since it came out. Gameplay experience still remain the same, fun and enjoyable.

The charge song should nulify it considering he has charibasa, charibasa charge song is damage boost plus immunity to status effect

I remember the freaking dlc giant that i fought if i recall correctly level was 75 only but gheek doronga is 150-250

Do you have Crono Riggers yet? They COMPLETELY resist criticals. And the Alldemonium Shield is godly, too.

Cannogabang is so op XD I used it to all archfiend boss and got mostly 5-2 hits using charge attack

I absolutely love this game but never played the third

If there was one well... 3 reasons I got my self a PSP it was because of the Patapon series. Best rhythm game ever made.

Epic game, epic handheld console!

I kinda hate this thing about Patapon 3. Boss going into "no telegraphing beyond this point" mode renders meaningless all the fighting done prior, and you can only win by outstatting the boss. There is still strategy behind grinding for and selecting the right equipment and skills, but the entire in-battle gameplay is zero skill (or you just die if your stats are too bad).

When I fought Gigantus at the Field of Angry Giants, I instakilled him with my Tondenga.
