It took me 4 tries to defeat Kacchindonga, but I finally did, and I'm so proud of myself, for I haven't even beat Garuru yet!

i think you can use the same stradegy as the normal dodonga in patapon 1 (except in 1 you cant jump.) which is a good addition.

I love the pon pata pon pata cause when they go "pon pata pon pata WHOO!" It is so cute and it sounds cool.

The best thing on this game is, that you make a soundtrack xD

The one that gives you more health, I think it's a first tier mask judging from the shape. The fourth tier mask gives you a frikin huge ass hp bonus.(400) The first tier mask only gives 50 hp.

Patapon 3 is pretty fun, but there is so much I miss from patapon 2. I just hope this game won't go downhill like other great games.

Using a Hero of any of the projectile class helps out tremendously as well. I personally prefer the Maho Hero for the downpour of meteors. :]

@daviddakid23psn the pon chaka song basically allows them to store energy, and when you do the pon pata song to attack, they attack as if they were in fever mode dealing "fever mode" like damage.

I've beaten the game once in japanese and now I'm playing the english version but I still haven't fought this boss and also good job you're good

pretty good. this game is so addictive and ive online played a demo.

same he's easy to beat as well on the demo, all you need is flame bows on your rangers (or great fire bows) which you get from the karmen egg.

Nice fight and good description that helps ppl out in trouble :D Sounds like your a prof at the game, you even got difficulty on hard xD. But right now you'r in a difficult situation: 1. Your hero is the only one that gives you the chance to fight difficult stages, means if he dies you will be unable to win a fight against a strong boss or a hard stage. 2. You need to evolve/upgrade your army, until they are strong enough to win a fight without the hero. Does this make any sense to you? :P

lol when i first saw this video i thought this boss would be hard but i beat the hell out of him! (i got the demo) but what does the heart mask (the one kabon wears) do?

In the English version, the time it takes him to charge the roar attack only lasts 1 beat cycle. So if you do your charge attack while he does his, you will die... Also on hard it takes 3 perfect beats to go into hero mode (not 2), so even using hero tatepon invulnerability often results in death unless you're godlike. But, having a ridiculously high Knock Back army does him in quite quickly, cuz he keeps stumbling (no single unit should be less than 50% KB).

what is the best rarepon in patapon 2? cuz like in patapon 1 it was obviously barsala or mogyoon, but now that there are so many more...i've seen a lot of tree, but isn't mogyoon like better?

Same here, thou I haven't gotten all the way in the game (too much farming for me). I just realized having a killer Wandabata Dekapon Hero with the best equipment (in Hero Mode) undermines farming for even my higher level bosses. Kinda lame (but really cool).

There are some perks in the form of transfer* of some of your stuff from the first game, but otherwise it's not essential that this game be played after the first (the story is simple enough that little background will be necessary). If it's a general question about getting a Patapon game at all, I strongly recommend you either try the demo or look it up some more. If you like it, get it!
