This movie and its songs have a very close place in my heart. The depiction of a girl fighting for peace and freedom in her life eliminating all the obstacles in life. Nooran sisters has a calling from India.. Their voice is so rooted that the globe will recognize from where the calling is.

This might be one of those few songs which is MILES BETTER done in live and raw vocals than the studio version. I’m literally intoxicated by their energy and talent.

After watching this movie I came out of the theatre with immense sense of respect for Alia as an actor. I had tears in my eyes when she cries on the road in Heera song.

+M.G. AnnAd I can only guess that 2014 was the year of Queen. That was a good movie with a mainstream message that resonated with a lot of people, but compared to Highway...it's not even a contest. Highway should've beaten it in best film and lead actress categories.
