Patagonia's 'miraculous' churches survived history's strongest earthquake - BBC REEL

In remote Patagonia, 152 spectacular wooden churches have survived for more than 300 years in one of the fiercest climates in the Southern Hemisphere. They even withstood the strongest earthquake in human history.

    Just like they built the pagodas in China and Japan. No bolts or nails. Just the ability to articulate with the movement. Could easily withstand a 10.0 magnitude earthquake with no damage.
