That aint the Pata Pata I learned from Hugh Masekala at Stockton folkdance camp in the 1960's. But I sure do like it.
Reminds me so much of emancipation day celebrations in Trinidad.

There are mathematical principles that are naturally put into practice in African dances like this one. Watch closely, and you'll discover them! It would not be wrong to assume that Africans are naturally mathematicians!
