I’m glad you spoke on how ppl asked for a colorful palette. But truth be told her consumers do not use rainbow palettes (or expect rainbow from the brand) Hopefully ppl stop asking Pat to give us something that she is not known for and that we the buyers don’t use. I appreciate what Mother Pat creates and what PML gives. I hope PML sticks to their esthetic like other long lasting luxury brands. TFS!

I agree with you! I think people were wanting something from before her divine rose days and it was just hard to accept how her brand has evolved. I really cherish my older motherships and 6 pans but That era seems to be over and that’s okay too!!!

I got this nirvana palette for a companion to her other palettes.

Omg noooo wait for the sale!

I think the first motherehip mega shimmers would go great with this palette. I am so here for the mattes in this! I think the green goes nicely as a crease shade with the dark blue in the outer corner with the blue shimmer. The pink as a transition for the red or the lighter of the two purples. The blue matte with the pink shimmer in the same section is also nice. I do have few gripes and one is the fact it is not lacquer as I was hoping to rearrange them. It actually made me want to buy the first Mega for the shimmers (i dont own either of the other 2). They are no longer available at least here in england but to be fair I could always use my indie multichromes. My other gripe is why are there 4 golds and 2 bronzey shades out of the 9 shimmers...I mean pleaaassseee stop! I really like the looks you created!

Thank you so much!!!!! I also wish the shimmers were a little more varied in color so I do think the first mothership would be great with this and even the shimmers from the second! I’m happy she gave us different mattes. Overall I really had a hard time with this one.

The 3rd look gave me queen of hearts vibes!

You verbalized what I thought when I saw this collection. I have not bought it. I will wait until it goes on sale...maybe I get lucky and catch it at 30% of and if I don't, I won't be upset. I love PM for her shimmers and special shades. I don't look to her for mat colors, I have 9 of her Mothership palettes and almost all of the small quads but I've grown a little tired of her repetitiveness with the rose and gold colors that I have stopped myself in the last three launches she's had. Trying not to make a lengthy post. When I first saw the collection. I was like oh YEAH I’m getting everything except the colored mascara.Then I started calming down. So, then it was mega, single blush, highlighter and one five pan palette. Then when she did the first release which took me aback. Now, I have the mega and I truly think that’s it. She actually save me money they way she released the collection. I would have gotten the mega,highlighter and both five pan palette and probably the single blush.

Listen I probably would have gotten everything as well!!!! So I agree! This really saved me some money. I’m so glad I had time to think about it all because I was about to go overboard!

I am guilty of buying the previous 2 of these but I never use them. I really wish I did eyeshadow looks like you hut I don't know where to start...you also have such nice eyes. I finally got to sit and binge some of your videos. I always do before I decide to spend money on Pat Mcgrath.

I skipped this but after seeing the looks you did I actually like it. That teal/green and gold look great together. It’s a nice way to add a pop of color with everyday looks. But I totally get what your saying about having to come up with looks. That is something I still struggle with

I 💯% agree with your review. This palette is a little bit more challenging. I really don't care for those primary mattes blues and greens🤢. I just want something pretty, sparkly and easy, and that is why I just ordered the 2 new 5-pan eyeshadow palettes. I can't go wrong with those 🥰.

Hey!!! Let me cut to the chase...I am sending my palette back. I was expectiing more and some of my viewers said that they also felt that this palette was unlike her regular Mothership palettes. I wish the first Celestial palette was still available and thanks for sharing the prior 2 for comparison...that's what I needed and, had I watched your video first, I definitely would not have ordered this one. You created some beautiful looks nonetheless, and I applaud you for being honest about both your pros and cons. When the opportunity presents itself, I will purchase one of her Mothership palettes...on sale. So I will be watching. Let me know your opinion on which one a newbie like me should lean towards. Well done!

Yeah I feel you. Yet I’m not mad because her fans have been asking for this color story. I know many will enjoy it. As for a mothership palette, I think midnight sun is still 77 dollars on her site and I love love that one. So great for fall also!!!!! Thank you so much girl!!

The looks you did have me wanting the palette but not for now because I know I can do these with shades in my collection. The third soft look is so darn pretty!, I am also impressed with the red and wonder how it would look on my skin tone.

I enjoyed watching you create. The first shade with the bluish purple vibe and the cranberry/ bronze shades are my favorites.

Number 2 my favorite but i am very partial to more color looks

I hear you Cara cause those promo pics had me but when I looked at the swatches on Temptalia I was like underwhelmed because it felt so much like what I already had and I wanted to be wowed. But I must give credit to PAt for changing it up and giving something different. I have lat years and I got it before I started to appreciate glittery shadows and was so pissed with how messy my face would be. L9l I,ve learned to use glitter glue and spray my brush since then so I appreciate that palette a lot more. I really want the one from 2020 but I’m not lusting after it as much as so many other things on my wishlist. I was tempted by the blushes but I already have the two best colors from last year,s release that suit my deeper skin tone. I think I have my eyes out only for another highlighter cause her highlighters are so perfect!,

I’m sad because I still have not reached for this palette since….. I’m not mad about having it bit I need to decide on how I want to use it!

I am so happy that you are so upfront and honest, I stopped buying her shadows because I was always underwhelmed when I received them. Tbh I feel like alot of brands do it and they need to stop because at this point it's false advertising. I was a fan but I think it was because of the hype... Her shadows do not last on my eyes and that's with trying them in different ways, they are for me glam palettes and really where am I going haha! TO WORK!, I find her shadows quite dry and I feel like they look awful on me. I have cheaper palettes and brands that are at her price point that do a way better job. I think she is a great artist but not for everyday folk like myself.

I can already tell I would love this palette. I dont like true reds much, specially not paired with bronze or gold (yawn), but i can see so much I could do with this palette. You could use the pink with the purples for an all matte look, but the first way id use it is as a lid color with browns in the crease and understated eyeliner, wich is anither all matte look. I like pink with brown for daytime. Ty for the looks. Super helpful

Love all the looks you created but the last 2 are my favorite. I think they’d be the easiest to create for me. I can’t decide if I like this palette or not. I didn’t get her first 2 megas. I kind like last years still so if it comes back I’ll probably grab that. Great video!

Thank you for your honesty. I was so excited when I first saw the collection that I was going to get so much. Then the dust settled and I took a step back and asked myself how much was I really going to use it. With that said I did a 360 😂😂😂. I haven’t purchased it yet nor the smaller quads. To be honest not sure that I am getting anything from the collection.

I think we asked for color but not colorful?! Lol. I wanted a nice nine pan palette with a greens and browns and another with purples and etc. I think it’s beautiful and like you said the swatches came patchy with the mattes

Hi Cara! I haven’t picked this up because although I thought it was pretty, I just didn’t see the cohesiveness that I would prefer. Once I realized the shimmers were pretty neutral, it didn’t make sense for me to buy at full price. I also think that just because we were asking for color…it didn’t mean that all of us wanted it thrown at us at one time. For instance, had she given a navy blue matte in mothership x I think a lot of people would have seen that as her doing something different. As usual your looks were great, but I don’t know if I’ll be picking this one up. Thanks for the video!!

Hi Cara . I'm proud of you.. because you do like Mama Pat and most if not all her products... In my opinion , I think that her palette is all I'll be picking up . come Seporia sale I'm looking to purchase the Danessa.. it will be my first palette from her.. can't wait. I have seen alot of Creators do eye looks w/ this palette and their swatches where not good but on the eye.. it was good. Yess that blue looks nice on the outer corner . just don't cover what you started with.. 😢 u covered it up.. to much 😭😭.. vampy.. 😢.. second .. eye look.. Very nice 🥰🥰🥰

Cara, this collection is a pass for me. I might pick up a blush palette if on sale. I just never reach for PM eyeshadows and I actually use tarte eyeshadows more.

I just got my palette and tried several combos out and I am SOO disappointed. I love color and I loved last years mega palette and the year before but this years quality and performance was not up to par...by a lot IMO. I hope the quints are better 🤞🏼

I picked up the mega palette but like you that’s all I am picking up. The five pan palettes are not special. They can be duplicated in her collection and the blush palettes are not mixed according to skin tone so I won’t get much out of any of the palettes. I rather get the hourglass palette. It seems more of a classic to me. I think Aunty Pat got enough money from me for this season because apart from the Mega I just bought a Mothership and a blush. Until she release something innovative I am done for now. I wish ppl would be honest the collection is not that stella. Thanks for your honesty! We need more honest reviewers.
