I actually appreciate him saying that. Smoking isn't activism. Some people just alleviate their hardships, others just like to get high, it's that simple. That sentiment can go a long way towards de-stigmatization.

@@jameycockrell5481 coming from a lazy procrastinator, I definitely agree with you. I'm naturally lazy, and I hate it. No matter how much I want to do something, I procrastinate until the very last second, and then rush to get it done. I have been smoking Marijuana for about 10 years now, and maybe 6 smoking almost every day, and most of the time Marijuana actually gets me up and going. I'll definitely admit, there are times where Marijuana compounds my laziness, but I used to leave high school, just about every day junior and senior year, at the end of the day, go get stoned with a few buddies, and then hit the weight rooms for about an hour a day. It actually kind of connects something in my brain that leads me to be surprisingly more active. Moral of the story; if you're an adult, you should try it for yourself, and make your own decisions based on how it affects you, because it clearly affects a lot of people very differently.

I've used Cannabis for Crohn's for nearly 15 years. I stand by Ty and anyone else who uses cannabis to manage the plethora of ailments it helps treat.

Chris has one of the best opinions I’ve heard on marijuana use, it does different things for different people and it’s not for everyone

I Love It Bro I am an active person and smoke. I hate the stereotype which surrounds it ! I truly believe that due to its relaxation effects, it would also reduce injury in the NFL.

Ill tell you for PTSD, anxiety, and insomnia thc is amazing ESPECIALLY these edibles and prescription quality weed which are just insanely good particularly in lower doses. The days of wondering how this strain or that strain will help with these things buuuuttt ill eat too much, get paranoid, get too drowsy to do anything etc. those days are gone.

Im a retired Army Infantryman. Over 20 years I was injured with many of the types of injuries Football players get. I have the narrowing of the spine that ended My Army career and Sterling Sharp and Michael Irvin. Toradal and Mary Jane are my go too. I was on Oxy for a Decade and switched to Mary Jane due to personality changes from the Oxy. Toradal is what they give me when I bend over on occasion and then cant stand back up.

The exaggerated hand motions and the squats kinda had me feeling like pat maybe had a little of both beforehand 👀

First up love the show, love hearing the player perspective on things to. That said as a health professional (20 odd years experience) who’s worked in elite/professional sport, I’m very concerned by some of the comments made in this clip, but they’re more than worth a discussion. No issues with points being made about the cannabis/CBD etc, a lot more concerned by the pain relieving shots chat and the influence of non-medically trained coaches trying to influence the professional to administer something that’s potentially dangerous. I see how you found it funny, but there’s real world consequences to these discussion between coaches and medical staff, and these discussion happen all the time so it’s worth shining a light on them. The crux of it is if it goes wrong, it’s the medical guys getting struck off and losing their career. Don’t do what the coach says, you could potentially lose your job. How about discussing that perspective? I’ve been in those positions. To protect individuals I’ll not go into detail, but I had coach of an international team wanting me to put a guy on the pitch following their second loss of consciousness head injury in a short period of time. I should point out the second episode was in the same game they wanted me to put them back into. I get his reasons, there was a major world tournament to be played in 4 weeks and he wanted his team to get pitch time. My reasons were I didn’t want the guy to die. I saw your other clip about Christian Eriksen being resussed pitch side. Sadly been in that position too on TV. The point I’m making is I get that players/coaches have their view and reasons. Let’s respect the medical team and not put them in no win situations when ultimately they’re the guys who have your back, and are concerned about your welfare even when you finish playing, not just whether you win that match or not. Where’s the coach when you’re retired and physically fucked cos you did some of those things to make a game? Do you want the guy giving you what you and the coach want, or the guy who’s potentially going to save your life one day, or make a decision to keep you healthy in retirement? Worth a thought folks.

I just had surgery to remove a kidney stone and got prescribed Torodol. They said they don't want me on it more than 10 days, but these football players take it all the time for years? My 1st encounter with marijuana was me pulling a truck over and the passenger jumps out with a AK-47 and dumps a full mag at me. The truck had a few hundred pounds of this magical plant inside. I guess for him it was worth dying over.

I for one think we should take it easy on the olds. Remember Woodstock was over 50 years ago, some of the olds would have been there or had friends that were. Some of them may be more opened minded than we think they are. Just my perspective.
