@bearychitect oh for sure, all it takes is a big kick or punch, however he needs ground work and he even has to work on his striking. If penn, maynard, edgar, or even florian would of caught in the guillotine that henderson did, I believe he would of been submitted. And taking punches or kicks from the ufc guys are definately more dangerouus than taking thhem from the wec fighters. He is def. someone to keep an eye on if continues with the acrobat moves!!

I really like Anthony Pettis. Exciting fighter. I'm a girl and do not find him attractive..obviously he's not ugly but I don't think he is sexy. Didn't think I'd see comments of girls fighting over him lol.

@pyroyce13 I agree 100%... Everyone is jumping on the bandwagon now and saying that this guy could outclass edgar and maynard. No way, but you know that this always happens. When someone gets a spectacular ko or submission, they make them seem as if they are the best or one of the best.

@redgts00 If you look at Pettis's skillset and start comparing him to the top UFC lightweights, he matches up pretty well with any of the best guys. I can't wait to see what he can do to the winner of Edgar/Maynard. Im not suggesting that he could out-wrestle Edgar or Maynard, or that he could submit Jim Miller, but it doesn't mean he can't knock them out with an Ong Bak kick!!!!!!!!!

@redgts00 There are bandwagon jumpers, but I've been watching Pettis since the Castillo fight. I became a fan when Pettis did this weird ass kick and threw his shin into the back of Shane Roller's neck. I did not, however, expect him to beat Henderson or Jackie Chan kick him in the face.

@SaMiAm702 Ten times is a stretch. The Jamie Varner fight was good, but Horodecki's wrestling isn't worth giving Cerrone credit for neutralizing. People said Pettis would get submitted and outgrappled against Shane Roller and Ben Henderson and he passed both fights with flying colors. If style makes fights, then I'd go with the guy that did a motherfucking Ryu Hayabusa kick off the cage and landed it.
