The first time I heard this song I cried so hard. Lord knows if my past sins weren't forgiven I'd be destined for hell. I pay my debts every day in hopes of him taking it easy on me when my day comes.

God tells us to make a joyful noise brother! Some can sing I just make noise, but I worship our Lord and savior!

He has a video called Church sessions. He has several faith based songs including a song called "His name is Jesus" that is another amazing song. He's talking to a pastor in one of his videos about this actual song and the Pastor said it is just such an amazing song and Cody says that song was given to me by a higher power he said it didn't take him very long to write it and it just all came together and he goes that song was a gift from above

Really appreciate your commentary. One slight thing you skipped over was the line "let me not take for granted all the depths of your forgiveness..." I sincerely believe that is a reference to Romans 6 1-2 and that it's an underrated indication of how biblically sound Cody and this song are.

We used this in my church for one of our songs we sing every Sunday. Everybody loved it! My mother fell for his music after that as well.

Found this song this morning I'm from Central Alabama and i was on my way to the river to fish and I cried on the way there and on my way home God had ahold of me and was letting me feel his presence I love it so much!!
