Thank you Pastor Gray !!! Thank God for allowing my sis to share your sermon with me and now I watch you daily ! Especially now ! Going thru a tough time, recent car accident, drunk drive hit me and I've now broken my C5/C6 . Been wearing a brace for 4 months now and just found out I have to have surgery due to the injury not fully healing 😩 I'm a nervous wreck ! I've always believed in GOD and he has always brought me out situations. I'm a mother of 4 girls but this situation has had me losing my FAITH !!! "The dead in Christ shall rise first" So, why do many people believe that when you die you go straight to Heaven? Doesn't make any sense for Jesus to come to raise the dead if they're in heaven already...?

The souls of those believers who have died have been resurrected already and at the return of Christ, believers bodies will get new physical bodies that are immortal. 1 Thessalonians 4:16 is referring to the bodies that will be resurrected to reunite with the souls of those believers.

gatewaychurchtv Okay, 1 Thess. 4:16 refers to the resurrection of the dead who will rise first. You said “the souls of the believers who have died have been resurrected already” Can I get a Bible Verse that backs that up, what you just said? And also, I don’t mean anything bad by questioning. It’s just something that’s always boggled my mind. And how could the dead resurrect to Heaven if the Bible quotes that “the dead know nothing” the Bible refers to death as “sleep” as well.

We know that God formed the body from the dust of the ground, and then He breathed His life-giving spirit into the lifeless body. When a person dies, the reverse takes place. the Bible says. “The dust returns to the ground it came from, and the spirit returns to God who gave it” Ecclesiastes 12:7. The idea of sleep is used by the New Testament writers to describe the death of believers. When you go to sleep, you are unconscious but when you wake up you are conscious again, when you die you are unconscious but when you are resurrected you will be conscious again.

Pastor John grey I really would like to talk to you ..I've been with my husband for 27 yrs an married to him for 12 yrs an just 3 yrs ago he fell into the doctrine of the isrealites now he believes that God did not come for all nations of people an that he only died for lsreal ..he showed me in the Bible where it says I have only come for the lost sheep of the house of isreal..an he also showed me where it says for Jacob I have loved but Esau I have hated!!! So he tells me that Jesus hates the white man an that we're all going to hell an all other nations of people as well . There's no salvation for any of THE NATIONS..... EXCEPT ISREAL AN THERE GOD CHOSSEN PEOPLE

I would encourage you to read John 12:44-50, Jesus came into the world as a light that whoever believes in Him may not remain in darkness. He came for everyone in the world. "And Jesus cried out and said, “Whoever believes in me, believes not in me but in him who sent me. 45 And whoever sees me sees him who sent me. 46 I have come into the world as light, so that whoever believes in me may not remain in darkness. 47 If anyone hears my words and does not keep them, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world but to save the world. 48 The one who rejects me and does not receive my words has a judge; the word that I have spoken will judge him on the last day. 49 For I have not spoken on my own authority, but the Father who sent me has himself given me a commandment-what to say and what to speak. 50 And I know that his commandment is eternal life. What I say, therefore, I say as the Father has told me.”
