John S Where in the bible does it say women can preach??? Please quote the exact chapter and verse. I definitely know the bible speaks against it in verious areas. 1Timothy 2:11-15 and 1Corinthians 14:34. Please study your bible and let me know where the bible authorises women to preach in church and also provide examples of women who preached (in the bible). Thanks

Nnenna Onwukah Concerning 1Timothy2:11-15, this was not addressing women in church. This was addressing a false teaching of adam and eve as the tone shows paul arguing how adam (WAS NOT) deceived. This is the teaching he was against, it was not against women teaching the Gospel. If so, then it would violate Jesus in Mark8:38 on EVERYONE allowed to speak the Gospel to mankind.... Now, According to the King James Bible, look at the abbreviations paul made as in (THE WOMAN) not to teach over (THE MAN)....(THE MAN). This is gathering 2 individuals known as WIfe and Husband. Look how he didnt want her to usurp authority...USURP means take by force. Ok, so please tell me how is preaching considered an act of forcing dominance????...... As for 1Corinthians14:34, this was paul requoting in sarcasm the error of what these jewish men used in christianity. They used a false law of the heresy(1Corinthians11:18-19) to silence women. So, if you know your bible, please tell me why the law of moses(Exod-Deut) did not command women to be silenced in churches??? Now look at the very next verse in 1Corinthians14:36 that you never quoted. This is a question that supported women to speak in church the word, this question addressed the men who assumed preaching was for (Them ONLY). Plus if 1Cor14:34 was from God, then god would contradict HImself in 2 ways. It would contradict how women were prophets in this church and how 1Cor12:28 says Prophets are called in church. Plus didn't Jesus say EVERYONE must not be ashamed of His Word publically in Mark8:38??? See that!!!..... Now as for women in the bible preaching, Luke2:39 shows Prophetess anna preaching to all who wanted to know Jesus. In Philippians4:2-3, paul preached with 2 women. In Matthew5:54-56, mary and the women ministered unto the roman soldier when Jesus fulfilled redemption. In 2Chronicles34, Huldah was requested to explain the books and law of moses to king josiah and his priests that requested her in the college. In Romans16:1-2, paul told this church to assist Pheobe who served her church, and assist her in (ANY) business she needs. So if she wanted to preach, why did not paul say "Dont allow her to preach"?

John S​​ The bible still says what it says. You don't know apostle Paul's "thoughts" at the time so I can't go off your assumptions. I can only go by what yhe bible says. We cant pick and choose what to accept in the bible and what not to accept. The bible tells me in plain language. A woman is to be silent in the church! A woman CAN be a prophetess and prophesy as were a number of them in the bible but in no place in the bible does it tell me that women went round preaching and also did it in the church. Please list at 5 women preachers in the bible. Serving in the church doesnt mean preaching. Thank you

If a woman can be a prophet, then how can she prophecy if told to be silent in the church?? I'll explain how 1Corinthians14:34-35 is how this church used a false law to silence women, and how Verse 36 rebuked this lawof silence.... Now, if women are not allowed to preach, then why did Jesus in Mark8:38 say (Everyone) must not be ashamed of His Words pubically?? This means both genders are allowed to preach to be proud of our Lord. See, look very very carefully at how 1Timothy2:11 had an abbreviation saying for (THE WOMAN) to learn. Not look how the next verse used an abbreviation to say don't teach over (THE MAN). Now, add these abbreviated spellings and what comes to mind?? Hmm, 2 individuals, A couple which signifies marriage. So, how does 2 individuals regard anything about church roles??? 1Tim2:11-12 never mentioned anything about Gospel teaching or church roles. This is why you need to add along how paul said don't teach or USURP authority over....which is saying do not use a doctrine that would take power by force to dominate over. If im lying, then look up the definition of the word (Usurp). Preaching is not considered forcing to dominate someone. Plus, adam and eve mentioned resemble husband and wife topic...... As for being silent in church, if im picking and choosing again, then please tell me where the law of moses commanded women to be silenced in church??? There is no law commanding this from God. I'll give you the law that did, it was from the heresy/jews who paul noted to be diving churches(1Corinthians11:18-19). These jewish men in history created a separate bible of interpreting the old tstament and called it (The Talmud). Now as for women preaching around, Read Luke2:39 at Anna. Read Philippians4:2-3 at 2 women who preached with paul. Read Matthew27:54-56 at mary and the women ministering to the roman soldier. Read 1Corinthians16:19 at Prisclla in ministry with her husband. But more important, read Mark8:38 again

John S​​ a prophet is different from a preacher. A prophet prophesies and a prophesy is delivering a message pertaining to a particular person, place or thing. A prophet by delivering a prophesy does not teach the word of God. So yes, a woman can deliver a message. Phoebe served the church by delivering Paul's messages and rendering service to the church. She never went around preaching because the bible doesn't tell us that. In any event, I don't understand why you're calling Pastor Gino a false prophet. He preaches repentance and preaches not from his own understanding but straight from the scriptures. Undiluted! Again, the bible has not given any names of women who went preaching with Jesus or after Jesus. Your question about Moses I find ridiculous. Was a church ever established in the time of Moses???? So how can you talk about women preachers in Moses time? Ok, let's talk about what they had during Moses' time. In the temple of God, were there any women carrying out the same functions as the Levite men in God's temple? Again please list names of women that carried out God's work in the temples like Nabad and Abahu, women who preached WITH Jesus when he was on earth and women who preached with the apostles. It's a very simple request. There's no point going back and forth about Adam and Eve or husband and wives. Just show me proof with some examples. It shouldn't be hard if this was a task given to both men and women. Women DID NOT preach with Paul. Please check your dictionary to see that "Ministering" has two distinct meanings. 1) Attending to the needs of someone 2) A religious Minister. They served the church by "ministering (1st definition) to Apostle Paul thus attending to his needs and NOT preaching the word of God to him. They DID NOT go around preaching nor were they in the church preaching. All you need to look at to understand this is Matthew 27:55 when Jesus was crucified, the bible says many women who had been watching from afar had followed him from Galilee, ministering unto him! Hold it right there! Firstly they were "ministering" to him by attending to his needs and not preaching to him because if you say they were "ministering i.e preaching" then you're saying that the women were teaching Jesus the word of God. No one on this earth taught Jesus the word of God but God himself because God was in him!!!! Remove your canal understanding and pray for God's understanding so he may interpret the scriptures for you. At the end of the day, I don't see any falshood this man is preaching. He preaches against false prophets, those who go into church for business and money. He preaches against homosexuality, preaches against the love of money, preaches against idolatry (praying to Mary like the catholics), preaches against sexual immorality, against abuse and neglect of women by men, preaches against men making and abandoning their children. He tells us we must deny ourselves the things of the flesh and love and serve God with all our heart and might. All these things are addressed in the bible. So why are you upset about what he's preaching? I don't understand? He shows us that we're not to fit the word of God around our lifestyle but our lifestyle must fit with the word of God. I've heard alot of preachers, the likes of TD Jakes, Creflo Dollar, Joel Osteen, Benny Hinn and I can tell you I have never ever heard them speak out against homosexuality or divorce and remarriage or women preachers. I think I'm grown enough to determine who a false prophet is.
