As a former homosexual saved by the cleansing blood of the Lord Jesus Christ I applaud your approach to this topic by bringing forth the truth of God’s word. I was in the lifestyle most of my life and went into progressive Christianity due to its affirmation of the LGBT community. It was through KZread channels such as yours, Justin, in addition to Corey Minor and Mike Winger that my heart was touched and open to change. I was addicted to drugs, sex, and porn and surrendered all to Christ almost a year ago. I praise God for setting me free to be the man of God I was meant to be. Howard, I’m thankful that you were able to come out of homosexuality. I am a therapist and accept people where they are. I’ve counseled many men that struggle with homosexuality. As a Christian, I am truly grateful and blessed when I know that someone has come from the grips of Satan into the hands of God. Howard, thanks again! Justin is correct. I was a Lesbian and God sent me someone to tell me the truth. I'm grateful for that truth. So, no there was no offense, when I was told the truth and in a loving way. So anyone coming after the church who are in the LGBTQ should realize you're being decided believing you were born this way or blaming God for not taking you out of the lifestyle. You have to listen to the truth and allow the Holy Spirit to convict you. I thank God I'm out of this lifestyle and living for the Lord with all of my heart, mind body and Spirit. I love God more than anything.

@@trapped-ion I really don't know how to explain that. It's a really long story, but in short the day I accepted Jesus my life changed. I really just lost the urge to be with another female. I struggle at times with mental images, but I go straight to prayer and reading scripture. It's helped a lot. I also have some women in my life who have taught me how to have a healthy relationship. They are all married to a man and they hold me accountable. I have two friends who reach out to me daily and have helped me through the process. I have since remained single, mainly because I chose to. I do pray God allows me a husband, but for the time being I am walking out salvation in obedience with fear terribling.

I’m an ordained minister. Though I’m nondenominational, I recently received an email from our headquarters openly accepting the LGBTQ+. I replied that what they’re doing is sin. They responded with “Judge not least you be judged”. I responded by telling them that I was Not judging, but the Bible is. I typed out 1st Corinthians 6:9-11. They refused to respond. I will continue to preach and teach the Bible to the best of my abilities and through the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

You could go fully independent. Many has done so already, for the same reason, that the current of the times is, that more and more church organizations bend down to the agendas and views of the world. Anyway, do you realize, that deacons, elders, pastors and bishops, roles of authority in the church established in the Bible, all are roles of authority in one local church? The tradition, that these offices holds authority over multiple churches or maybe entire states or nations is entirely man-made traditions not established in scripture and first established by the Orthodox and Catholic churches.

It is good for fellow Believers to have a faithful Pastor's back. Charles Spurgeon had over a hundred saints praying in the basement of the church during each service yet it was God who ultimately decided what would transpire, not the prayers. God said through the apostle "This is the confidence that we can have in Him. That is we ask anything according to His will He hears us and if we know that He hears us, no matter what we ask, we know we have the petition that we have asked of Him".

The Bible says God prefers for people to be in LGBT relationships. Brother Justin, for the sake of my mom's soul (as she's steadily in decline), I simply had to address an abberant teaching taught in the faith she practices (with many tears). After so doing, I told her the most loving thing I could do was tell her the truth, and she said she understood. I learned that from you and it greatly helped me express my concern lovingly because I want my mom to live (2 Tim 2:23-26).

I left this church over 20 years ago….sadly and heartbreakingly they began the road to apostasy way back then. It really did break my heart for many years. Let us all keep praying that they repent and turn back to the Lord Jesus Christ.

Thanks for speaking out against the infiltration of critical race into churches. Our family had to leave a church (after attending there 20 years) after the leadership confirmed that they followed CRT. We left quietly, but it was still painful.

I hadn't been making it to the worship service for quite some time (lack of motivation, which now I can put my finger on why), so it took me a few months to hear about this issue, plus giving several weeks' notice to the ministry I was volunteering in. I've now had one week out and have visited one church over on my side of town. I'd definitely be interested in Casey's church, but it's double the commute time to FBCO. If you or anybody has a church recommendation on the east side of Orlando or has a great method for finding a list of solid Baptist-like churches, I'd love to know!

Thank you both for being soldiers of God. The bible clearly states that these wolves will tickle ears or fall away because they were not of us. People that want defend them is solid proof that they don't have sound doctrine or even the simplest thing and read the scriptures. We attended FBC Orlando many times in the 80s and 90s even into the early 2000s and enjoyed the ministry. My sister sang in the choir Jim Henry was the pastor then. When he left things went South. The church now is just show biz fluff sermons. Apostate. ICHABOD!!

I appreciate the two of you and your wise and Biblical words. I have said for many years that active persecution of the church - Biblically based bodies - in the US will begin around the issue of LGBTQ+ and taking a Biblical stand. I see this persecution occurring with churches shut down, pastors jailed, etc., because of promoting "hate speech."

I cannot thank you both enough, for your (obvious unwelcomed) testimony. As someone who decades ago was involved in 2 experiences with women, I was told in a congregation that I need not be ashamed. "Because our made us all to love." I was fortunately shaken awake by the Holy Spirit. Now decades later, I'm trying to help others to Christ. It sometimes feels like a losing battle, especially here in NYC! I believe the City is the current City of 'SODOM'. Hey, go look up a living waters video. Kirk Cameron and ray ministered the gospel to gangsters and one got in Kirk's face...fast forward 5 years later they are back preaching on that same street and run into the guy that caused them some trouble. Just sow the seed and God is faithful to save .

My question is, if the leaders of sbc Orlando are supposedly learned men of God, are they this deeply decieved and believe that what they are doing is good for the kingdom? If yes, how? If the answer is no, how can they put eternity on the back shelf to simply please their masses of people they're plainly and purposely deceiving. They are blinded for the do not believe the gospel. with their mouth the speak great words, but there heard is far from the Lord. The love the religious leaders and there religious leaders bind their followers with the scripture that they have twisted before. It is so sad, those people really believe that god as a father would forsake his child just because it loves the same gender. It is so sad, what those folks are teaching about God. But it is there worldview and I tried to help those people to understand the gospel, but they don't want. they have no love for the truth, neither do they understand the scriptures. they stone the prophets that are send to them. sadly they are like the talibans.

I've shared your videos with people in my connection who are not aware of the Charismatic , word of faith, and prosperity preachers. Our brothers in Africa are being consumed by these charlatans and I pray that Christ opens their eyes. I was a follower of these charlatans until I started listening to GTY and other reformed pastors like Voddie, SL, PW, DH, and others.

By replacing sin with brokenness (~12:04) you’re no longer calling out depravity, you’re EMBRACING IT!!!

Generally speaking - they don't really seek an honest debate. They just want to release a smear into the atmosphere in hopes that it will stick to their critics, and thus take the heat off themselves. The hope is also that most people won't do their due diligence to research anything. They just want you to be scalded with the 'Liar' iron, so to speak.

Sounds to me they've committed themselves to go down that road and their pride will not turn them back. They now call sin brokenness, so they never personalize sin. The Pastor from Florida really impresses me as a great man of God.

Why not? There are 47,000+ churches that call themselves SB. I would venture that the VAST majority are small, community, God-fearing congregations comprised of Christians who are in the trenches for Christ and who have nothing to do with the current mess at the SBC leadership level, or the cultural ideology of CRT, or SJ that has (sadly) caught the attention of some prominent pastors. Remember that SBC churches are autonomous and are free to choose their own pastors, form of church government, structure, etc. and thus are not overseen or guided by the SBC. These small churches are able to support missions and ministries through pooled resources in the SBC that, on their own, would not have the same ability to reach the world for Christ. The SBC is not without merit. I can't help but wonder if all of this exposure is part of a divine purge - with false teachers being called out, as well as those who have abused others through their own blind power. I praise God for this exposure, to the glory of God's church and for the benefit of his people.

I would venture that FBO is more the exception, and yes, if the leaders don't repent, then the people must either rise up and remove those leaders if they refuse to repent, or should flee to another church - not necessarily a different denomination, but find a good church. This stigma is not the first (nor worse) challenge that Christians have faced. We all face the scepticism in the world today about Christians because of the shinannigans of false teachers and highly publicized sin; hypocritical lives lived in plain sight; etc. But God's work of changing hearts is alive and well, and I am eternally grateful that I have been a recipient of this immeasurable grace... I think your question is short-sighted to imply all southern baptists are crazy, misguided, deceived, or stupid to remain southern baptists. We have millions of brothers and sisters who love and serve the Lord still in this denomination. For some, a change of church will be a right outcome. For others, a change in denomination will be a right outcome. And for others, staying right where they are because God is at work where they are is the right outcome. Let's not condemn an entire denomination due to the current struggles within it, extend the faithful some grace, and wait on God here. His will shall prevail.

What is implied however, is up to the reader, and if I have interprited your meaning incorrectly then please forgive me. Perhaps you can further clarify your question, it is open to much interpritation. Are you truly seeking understanding or expressing your bewilderment that anyone would stay after these current events? I have risen to the defense of my SB brothers and sisters and tried to offer reasonable explanations as to their choice to remain. I have numerous friends who have faced just that decision in the past weeks. God bless you brother. I meant no harm but was truly trying to answer your question.

I had a coworker lesbian that invited Me multiple times to that church , the Brazilian ministry . She told Me she was not "judged" there she can kiss her "wife" and hold hands and the pastors were ok with it. This is true !they allow it and encourage it

Please look into David Loveless as well! He is a pastor there as well and is not qualified. Just another example of what’s going on there.

This needs to be brought before the SBC Convention! It wouldn't be the first congregation to be reprimanded!

I to was a former Lesbian and was delivered out of that lifestyle I always thought I was born gay but after I was saved and started really reading and studying my Bible especially Romans 1 , 1 Corinthians and James. My dad was physically abusive to my mother I look back and realize that is what made me really not like men. I have forgiven my dad and I wouldn't want to go back to that old life ever.

You are such a kind humble godly man. Many Blessing to you and your wife. I will be seeing you in Durant, Okla. am so excited. Thank you for opening folks eyes and revealing the truth it's so needed. We all should know that was coming, that's going to be a big mess in the end of it all. But as for those believing in his word should stay in his word.

My answer to that accusation would be "Prove it with absolute facts not feeling."

Literally nothing is right about any of this including those in leadership at FBC Orlando. Where are the elders and Godly of the congregation; those whom should be Biblically protesting in love what is happening? As a former deacon I could not/would not sit idly by in silence while people are led astray, and Gods word is shamed.

I attended several different churches (all Calvary associated) in California (I'm in Florida now) where many leaders/"elders" were married and still quietly practicing homosexuals. They don't condemn because they are.

One slight correction, Casey. Brazilians speak Portuguese, not Spanish. Good run down of the issues with First Orlando. There needs to be some serious prayer to preach a purified and unadulterated Gospel. The purification and/or repentance of First Orlando leadership needs to come from within the church. Godly First Orlando members need to stand up and take action.

I learned years ago faith statements mean nothing with big Evangelical and Word of Faith churches. Probably 25 years ago, in the early days of the internet, I was noticing churches with terrible theology that had good faith statements.

Justin, for whatever it's worth, started checking out the goings-on at FBC/ORL, when the Strange Fire conference was going under way. Realized that David had adapted the Purpose Driven Church model started by Rick Warren. He started a retro-fit on the sanctuary, making millions of Dollars of changes. These changes fit the model and his narratives. The previous pastor Jim Henry pastored that church body like the Spirit-filled man he is. I must agree with you despite that my opposition to the Calvinist doctrines are growing stronger. Not sure what David Uth's intentions are, but remember: he, like all pastors will account to God for his actions and teachings. The SBC is in deep trouble and chaos.

Hello Mr. Justin! I wish to open up a dialogue with you if possible. I agree with many of your points. I know you are a very busy man. Everyone is busy one way or the other. Even though I am nobody. Not a pastor or anything of note. Just a seeker, curious, and thirsty for understanding. Not leaning one way or another. If it be agreeable with you, I would be happy to listen and move towards the understanding of the experiences in life l cannot explain.

Before converting to Confessional Lutheranism, I noticed a few things about the Baptists that I need to point out. And yes, I've even seen this among the Calvinist wing of Baptists as well. 1.) There seems to be a pattern in Baptist churches concerning church government that is not unlike the structure of many non-denominational churches, which is that the pastor has almost absolute power, and the council seems to be there for window dressing. I remember this in the Independent Fundamentalist Baptist church I attended, where the pastor's word was law, and seemed to go unquestioned. This sort of governance is not healthy for the church, and it sets the stage for what you see in FBC Orlando right now: that there is no room for church discipline regarding the pastor, as he seems to be "above the law." 2.) I know you addressed this in the video, but it bears repeating: there is too much of a "numbers at all costs" mentality in modern evangelicalism, and this is especially true of the Baptist denomination. Nowhere in Scripture is there any hint that God is concerned about the numerical size of a church, or that a church is "failing" because it is not constantly bringing in new people. The call of a church is to be faithful to God, not to simply increase numbers. While believers have the responsibility to bear witness before unbelievers, and to certainly welcome them to hear the gospel should the opportunity arise, they also have the call to "shake off the dust from their feet" if the world will not listen, as happened in the Scriptures. Far too much pressure is put on pastors and laymen to "grow the church," and that focus leads to pragmatism nearly every time. We need to stop putting numbers above everything else, and as I've said even in Calvinist circles this mentality can still be found.

You are so right there's a pastor on my phone saying you know that he talked to God and he said read scripture chapter 15 verse 5 and what he said was uncorrect because when I read it it was different but what he was saying so it is true you have to read from the scripture from the Bible not putting in your own words and I'm learning little by little of how important that is and I haven't found a church here where I live in San Bernardino that is actually reading from the Bible they put their own words because I open my bible and they're not the same words that are in the Bible so until you can help me and find a church that I can depend on then I will go to that everyday you know which is every Sunday and every Bible studies thank you and God bless all of you for doing all this and it's true what's happening right now is not supposed to happen but somewhere down the line they believe because God in the Bible has stated how he forgave so many that he's not a real God and it's not true he is he's very much so and like I said before I don't see him and he doesn't talk to me but I know he's up there listening to my cries of my prayers thank you so much and God bless you all

Re: Doctrinal Statements on websites: The term we have developed over time is "website orthodoxy." Anyone can put orthodoxy in a statement on a website. How many websites do not reflect that in practice in the church in question? By my 6-year exposure to polemics, far too many. It's a real time-saver when the website has the heresy of the pastor or members on it, Like TD Jakes, who is a modalist, and that's right on his website. Most have to be visited at least two or three times before you can get a picture of orthodoxy, because this stuff is done IN SECRET by false brothers that have crept in IN SECRET for the purpose to IN SECRET destroy the foundational faith of the saints.

Please do not succumb to the worldly language of the word 'marriage' when referring to anything other than marriage between a Man & a Woman. A thrice-holy God does not change His language & we should not adopt cultures mandates that we bow a knee to their agenda. As you said, God is Holy & Loving but would not be loving without His holiness. May your ministry be a continued blessing to the listener & many thanks to always pointing to the sufficiency of Scripture.

Hi JJ - I appreciate your suggestion. If I did not make that distinction clear, it was simply an honest oversight. On dozens (if not hundreds) of occasions in my teaching I have made that very distinction. I have very publicly stated that there is no such thing as "homosexual marriage." If I can say one thing about this being loyal to a church, feeling guilty or hurt by leaving false doctrine that's being taught . I was involved in a large cult in the meca of SLC. for over 60 years and I know how it hurts to leave the culture and beliefs you've always had. After being saved and having the truth revealed to me by the Holy Spirit, I can truly say I will NEVER be more loyal to any church, over the truth of our Lord Jesus Christ and His word. I am free , so if you're reading the Bible and you're hearing false teachings from the pulpit, then pray and ask for guidance where to go to church and if that is church online by a pastor preaching truth according to Scripture than go there. I'm finished with guilt, I am loyal to my LORD alone. I think you should walk away from the church with woke teachings. Lest we forget; Paul also rebuked Peter publicly. 'Seek ye the Lord, and ye shall live; lest He break out like fire in the house of Joseph, and devour it, and there be none to quench it in Bethel" (Amos 5:6). Ye who turn judgement to wormwood, and leave off righteousness in the earth" (Amos 5:7). This whole chapter is what's going on in this nation and the church. I write and i tremble when i write, and one of the things i recently wrote about is this very thing in a church out here. The answer i get back by so many of these liberal progressive "church" members is God loves them too. If God still loves them after you call them out and "they hate him that rebuketh in the gate, and they abhor him that speaketh uprightly." Then i, like you, have to wonder what "god" they serve. I just know one thing,; when my God starts to rain down hail mixed with burning sulfur and bitumen (yes it will stick and burn) i don't want to be anywhere near them, look Bethel can't even help them.:-)

Yes, I agree Susan Heck is good. Justin commended her. I now listen to her over any other women who teaches. Such sound doctrine. It's nice.

Being a abused child sexually (8 years old) I believe we need to protect our children from grooming, I was a target for those creeps and they need to stay out of our schools, television, and churches, and playgrounds but if they find Jesus Christ and stay away from their sexual activities they are welcome to come to church, my church, we need to pray for them, prayers are powerful…God bless you all… Thanks Justin we need to hear this…

I have heard of porn stars coming to Christ. I have heard of liberals being conservative Christians. I have heard of homosexuals and lesbians coming to Christ. I have heard of murderers coming to Jesus while in Prison. I have never heard of a single pedophile coming to genuine repentance, and being saved by the Holy Spirit. Not one.

Question for you Justin: I haven’t kept up with different church “leaders” and such for a while but I have a question about Jackie Hill Perry… she was in the American Gospel documentary. The documentary was the gateway for me to make my exit from hyper-charasmania. Seeing as how she has gone woke, will this be addressed before we keep sharing the documentary? I ask because I started following you and a couple others because of the documentary (we go to Redeemer in Gilbert, AZ and Costi was one of our pastors until he recently planted his church in Tempe). I am concerned others would watch and think it’s safe to follow her. Could you possibly make a video or something? I’ll email Costi as well but he is so hard to reach right now and I prefer my husband reach out to him since they are pretty friendly.
