Most the time listening to this book I always feel sleepy and easily destructed but I thank the Lord for the strength. I will listen till to the last chapter no matter what. Blessed 👍👍

??? Rev 18 says exactly where Babylon is. It's where Jesus' Apostles and Prophets (including Jesus) died.
Don't we hear often that all roads lead to Rome, the center of the world ? Isn't that what spiritial Rome is? I believe the roman catholic church (rcc) is the center of the world because of its commercial, political and religious power. Even today, most countries in the world have treaties (concordats) with the rcc. Throughout history, kings, princes , dignitaries and heads of state were desperately seeking the pope's blessings and diplomacy with him and probably business as well. The comment on chapter 17 made sense, but brother Smith's analysis of chapter 18 is inconsistent with his take on the previous chapter. Something is off. If the rcc plays a important role in revelation, there has to be more about her in subsequent chapters. God bless.
Started out by saying that Babylon stood for false religion, then @ 2:50 seconds in you say it is a city of commercialism. Throughout the Bible a woman is a church ( a pure woman the true church and the harlot false religion see Revelation 17:4-18 compared to Revelation 16:19 not just one city but the cities of the nations fell) How do the churches fall into fornication with the nations and the kings’ of earth? And in verse 4 and 5 God Calls his people out of these churches that they be not partakers of the sins the churches are committing because then they must also suffer the plagues. The fallen churches refuse to realize that Christ is no longer in their midst and they are widows about to receive judgement Revelation 18:1-8 . The next portion of the chapter goes into the causes of the fallen churches’ widowhood and why as seen in verse 23 the candle goes out and the bridegroom’s voice is silenced in the fallen churches.

It's incredible how Americans refuse to see their beloved country in this prophecy. Babylon was a super power just like America is today.

@@prrrakrrra Yes, America is going down, but this is not about America. When this takes place, America will not be found anywhere. Yes, many Americans have believed the lie of the woman, Spiritual Babylon or the Harlot, in chapter 17, and they have or are going down because they believed the what spiritual Babylon has taught through the ages. The Spiritual Babylon started in the time of Nimrod and has continued to build and add to the lies and fooled millions of people. Calvary Chapel churches do a good job teaching end time events, but there are many more churches who do equally well.
