Thank you so much sir. Your way of teaching is making this adventure much easier. Even though English is my second language, your videos are most understandable and effective for me. I have one question. Does querer means "to try" in Preterite? I couldn't find any clear information about this.
Good teaching

Some of the same comments are below, but I think there is a typo at 4:30, should be "quiso" not "quizo". thanks for the great videos
Thank you for this lesson. I have wanted (quise :) to say these words many times when I have been speaking. now at least I have an idea for these 3 verbs. Yo no hice - does this mean I didn't?

creo que es correcto? :) I am learning Spanish too and I go here for more lessons. I like his way of teaching.
To skip the intro go to 2:10
Best for screenshot 3:38 and 4:55 and 5:55
Thank you for your lessons that are very helpful. I have been taught the dot past of querer doesn’t imply wanted..I thought it meant tried. Also the 3rd person singular is it quizo or quiso? I’m retired in México..so maybe there is a difference in the meaning.
Can you pls explain the different tener and haber. Thanks
When do you use periódicos or diarios? Should get a video on this one lol!
I like the videos very much, however, in the case of these three verbs in the preterite tense it would have been clearer if the new stem had been marked (HIC, VIN, etc.), wouldn't it?
Hola profe.
Can you do more on quere please
This is incredibly helpful to add to my lesson! Do you teach online ?
Respected sir, I am Ravishankar, hailing from Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, I would like to communicate my writings and feelings in Spanish to my friends, however I could not to do so, due to lack of communication skill, the reason is that I do not have persons to converse and understand the language, though i have been continuously watching your tutorial session. i have been learning your classes on Spanish since 6 months, i could understand and not able to talk due non availability of speaking exercise during your teaching session, I therefore kindly request you to please have such classes to enable students like me will get conversation exercises in order to learn Spanish language faster than the expected time frame and oblige. I anticipate you will do the needful in the subject matter. And please suggest any person who could talk or communicate fluently in Spanish from any country and also who knows English too, who is able to manage both the languages.
In 4:30 is "quiso" lol but very good lessons :)
do you have a place where you have all your charts that we would be able to study ?
Thank you. I wonder if you could do a pronunciation guide for 'c' vs 's'. In words such as 'hice' vs 'quise'. Can one figure out the spelling from the sound of the word? (Also for the sound 'y' vs 'll' in a word.)
@ninadouglas6289
3 жыл бұрын
“Sí” snd “ci” sound exactly the same, only in Spain you’re going to hear the “c” pronounced like the English “th”.
Hey, When I was making sentences with Querer(Past), google translate had a different version of the sentence. Eg- I wanted to play with you this weekend According to the lecture - Quise jugar contigo este fin de semana Google Translate - Queria jugar contigo este fin de semana Am I missing something?
@norman9052
2 жыл бұрын
Este fin de semana is implying this weekend but your first verb is for present tense. They’re not in agreement in terms of time (past or present). Context is heavily dependent on the google translation. You might want to try saying en la pasada fin de semana or something like that which indicates “last weekend”

Danny, the strong sílaba es la central en qui SIS teis. Y eso pasa en creo que todos los verbos. No lleva accent porque la palabra es llana y acaba en S. Un saludo. Yo veo tus videos, pero no para aprender español, sino para aprender inglés. Curioso ¿no?
🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Sir why the accents are not applied to 1st and 3rd person?
Hello In spanish v pronounces b Pronounce vino is bino Thanks
Is the third person singular past tense of querer “quiZo,” or “quiso,”?
It would be perfect if there's a practice And sentences form It could be perfect

Why are you pronouncing V in venir as the English V sound and not the B sound?
El vino vino 🍷😂
There is one God, who created Heaven and Earth. He made us in His image and likeness. He made us to worship and we chose to rebel against God. As a result we are seperated from God but God didn’t leave us. Instead God sent His one and only Son, His Son is Jesus. He was born of a virgin and lived a life without sin, though He was tempted in every way as we are. He went on the cross and He willingly took our sins past, present and future. Jesus died in my place for my sins, paying my debt to God and purchasing my salvation. Jesus died but He rose on the third day victory over satan, sin, demons and hell. Jesus tells us to share this story of the Good News and there’s a God that lovingly pursues us. Jesus is coming to judge the living and the dead and those who trust in God will forever be with Him in His Kingdom and those who do not will suffer forever in hell so please repent and turn to Christ before it's too late please repent
If this lesson is easy I would like to know what hard it is. To me this has no rhyme nor reason
Hi! I love watching your videos and I'm also subscribed to your podcast on Spotify! I just have a small question, do these verbs have something special? and how is this video different from the one on lesson 35 since both are past tense ending in -IR and -ER? The past tense talks about something happening now or I the near future. EXAMPLE: does,speaks, writes, etc And the pretrite talks about an action that ended in the past. EXAMPLE: did,wrote, spoke,etc
English is easy compared to spanish .
Gooday Dr Danny I like to go eating Me gusta ir a comer Me like to go drinking Me gusta ir a beber **** I like to go shopping Me gusta ir de compras Why is it de and not a as above ? Much thanks ***
