It has sense, after the traumas, maybe not only the trauma of the death of his youngest kids, maybe some childhood trauma, william couldn't sleep well

Here's some background on what Williams been through he was abused and beaten as a kid which probably explains his split personality disorder when he was spring locked he wasn't a normal human he had remanent making him immortal that means unlike Cassity and all them they came back as the suits but he came back in his body that's being constantly crush twisted and snapped apart His nervous system and brain is still alive so it means he feels everything and it's been stated that when he was in that room locked away for 30 years he did stuff to pass the time he would pull on his organs and pull out bones and then shove them back in causing excruciating pain that is nearly impossible to describe Williams been through hell and he's going to hell afterwards but I don't think they can do much that he hasn't already been through

@Indian Gamer Manav I'm pretty sure many have accepted that or always knew they were the same being. At the same time, AUs like this are interesting to watch. That doesn't mean people believe its canon to the games (and it isn't, William never was and never will be controlled to kill children; he does it solely because he wants to and nothing will ever change that). However, I also acknowledge that some people do believe in the whole 'Glichtrap controlled William to kill children' thing; which I don't really understand why but people will believe just about anything on the internet nowadays.

Is it just me or all these AUs where MC are trying to "forgive" William even though he is not the one to blame, are lacking logic? Like, after everything they just found out, it is not a question about forgiving him anymore. It is a question if will they accept that THEY were the ones who fucked up. Yeah, they could not possibly know the truth at the time. Yeah, they were filled with hatred to William, and only to him. But the fact remains - THEY fucked up. How after realizing this they still ask "Will we forgive him or not?" Forgive for what? For something he did not do?

I mean if you think about it, i think it’s between split personalities. One your murderous insane evilish side. And two. Your normal side, with a bit of… evil side of it. Its like temptation. When your being tempted by someone or something you cant resist the urge to not do the bad thing, instead you’d let your other murderous side of your personality took control of you, to.. *ruin yer life.* so i think that’s how it meant from the “glitchtrap controlling william” thing.
