The drama, the suspense, you will suspect literally EVERYONE of being the killer in the first few episodes but once you get to the end it's SO tragic I definitely shed a few tears (THE ENDING IS HOPEFUL/AMBIGUOUS THO!!!!). The characters are so well developed and I love the moral ambiguity of the two main leads. Also, there's also Han Joowon and Lee Dongsik's extremely homoerotic tension between each other and if K-Dramas weren't so against making the most romantic "bromances" actually classified into proper BL's and letting them have a few smooches, then they would be like the couplest couple to ever couple. Enemies to Lovers at its finest (and I mean ENEMIES bro). They argue so much like an old married couple that 2 or 3 separate times another character has literally asked them if they were dating/together/having a lovers spat it's so funny. Not to mention Joowon's actor actually ships the two and Dongsik's actor is very teasing and shifty when asked about the real nature of their relationship, lmao. I hope you give it a chance because GODDAMN do I wish I could go back and rewatch the entire thing for the first time again.
