Marty Allen and Steve Rossi play this game straight and fair. I do not "cringe" when I watch them play. Buddy Hackett also doesn't cheat.

rtususian That was a great moment. And you knew that Marty really liked Allen. His “kiss” seemed sincere, though he was in a playful moment.

@@rockaway2k I think right after Marty made his impromptu remark he kind of realized it sounded a little mean, hence he instinctively got up and kissed Alan as a type of apology.

rtususian The explanation makes sense. Allen & Rossi both got up and kissed Allen at the end of the Friday episode, too.

I have been watching a lot of Allen & Rossi's appearances on youtube and I seem to notice that they do a lot of kissing! More than most any male-female couples!! Esp Steve Rossi! Maybe that's why people liked them, they were endearing and lovable. When they were asked on What's My line whether they were a husband and wife team (the panelists were blindfolded), Steve stands up and kisses Marty hard. They both kiss Allen here and in their act sometimes they kiss. And in one act Marty as a child sits on Steve's lap. No one ever thought they were gay, but if they were to do this today there would be all sorts of speculation.

Marty was always a touchy-feely kind of guy. It went with his being highly emotional, which he admitted in his book that he was.
