Woman here. Excellent message! I watched it because I was looking for information on how to deal with Jezebel at work. I have seen these dynamics my whole life, and I'm on my second job in a row that is "managed" by an Ahab, but it's controlled by multiple Jezebel coworkers. I'm in a very small town, and can't see any jobs elsewhere. I think it's also interesting that you find LOTS of Jezebels in certain "feminist" female-dominated fields. As a woman, I agreed with every single thing he said. Gotta get ready for work now. I would be very grateful if someone would pray for me...

Dear Pastor Mark, I wanted to take a moment to thank you for your recent sermon on restoring a spirit of Elijah in the church. As a fellow pastor, I found your message to be incredibly encouraging and insightful. Your message has given me renewed hope and energy as I seek to guide the congregation I lead and serve toward a greater connection to the Father through Jesus and a greater connection to fathers through men being the men that God has created the to be. Thank you for sharing the wisdom you gained from God's Word and your experience with us. Blessings to you and the church you lead and serve, Jacob Griffin

The story at the beginning of the video - about the trouble making woman who ruins a small church - just shows one of many reasons why the average length of a pastor's ministry is around 2 years. You're not qualified to lead simply by having studied formulas in seminary. You have to be well-acquainted with fervent prayer and fasting to be ready for the real battles that come against the furtherance of the Gospel and the church.

Im really liking this guy, think ill be watching more of his videos. Basically in a nutshell he is talking about feminism no doubt and it goes across about 3 or four generations since the civil rights movement for certain. The fact that women were/are far more likely to wage war throughout history shows this spirit has been thriving for a long time off and on where ever it can thrive. Usually it was the counterpart of the king just as in the same fasion we see here and occurs on a smaller scale all the time. In society today in the "mainstream" these two spirits are constantly promoted. To the men "Ahab" and to the women "Jezebel".

@Pastor Mark Driscoll So the question I have is: How does one descent the difference between a woman who just needs to be in control because of her background and one who has the Jezebel spirit. And, if it is the Jezebel spirit, and she is unchurched, how do you pray into that? Similar question for Ahab. Also, are there degrees of this?

Yes, I identified with both Ahab and Jezebel spirts in myself. I was in a relationship with a Jezebel controlled woman. We both exhibited traits of those spirts, but not to the extreme like the biblical examples. When I got with her I was hoping to turn her towards the light. But what happened was I adopted the Ahab Spirit and let her sex control me.

this series is so educational, convicting, and much needed as it is clear the roles have been reversed between men and women. Only thing I disagree is with DID/multiple personalities being demonically possessed as this typically can only occur under the age of 6. Our military (CIA)- Gerald Ford - was one of the first to discover this through Kathy O'Brien, learned how to perfect breaking a child at a young age through horrific trauma in order to groom them and use MK Ultra later in life to accomplish false flags or other needed narratives.. So please do not confuse what the Lord naturally created to protect a child's mind from something that is beyond our comprehension of evil. He was providing protection for them.

Matthew 5:43-48 is true Christianity. And so much more that goes against conservative culture and politics. "Beware of false prophets...ye shall know them by their fruit." MATTHEW 7:15-20 💀🍎💀

While I never married (I'm 36) I can attest to the fact that giving into sexual relations prior to marriage gives women like these power in the relationship. I was once with a woman who really did fit this type. I was too passive from the start and not only did she lose respect for me she was able to control me thru lust. I know another friend who married a self proclaimed witch. She is extremely controlling and she literally tried calling me out for speaking out against abortion. Last I checked her profile picture looks really demonic and she embraces the they/them pronouns. I feel for my friend because they have children together. Last time I visited their front living room is decorated with dark witch imagery. The sad part is he thinks he's being noble for supporting her. She used to be a very attractive woman but has now embraced the "happy wife happy life" nonsense.

Satan will give you what You want To keep you from getting what God planned for you together. Judas got what he WANTED until he finally SAW what he got and he didn't WANT IT after all. Instead of running to Jesus he ran from his sin and ran away from Jesus and DEATH occurred. Satan got what he wanted. But in this case God the Father did also. Satan DIDNT believe what he heard BEFORE Jesus died. After Jesus died it was too late for Satan to do anything about it. Because Jesus raised himself up. This temple, in 3 days I will raise it up myself. He DID.

See the thing is, Pastor MD is is not twisting the Biblical narrative, but instead of saying the 'spirit of jezebel' Ashtoreth (compound/pural) which is the same as Asherah, Ishtar, Astarte, Aphrodite, fact is, the word 'demon' you will not find in scripture, evil and unclean, shade, daemon. Hell there is no such word in Hebrew it Sheol and Greek Hades/Tartarus (ableit theologically there is a difference. As for real men, Paul said 'it is better for a man not marry, but not all me are like me, but to avoid sin such men should rather marry then being sexually immoral' to paraphrase, but this you do not hear, why? Yes I men are men and women women, I agree, Lev, Roman, Jude, Cor is clear on this but Jesus was did not rebuke men for not being married, both sides should be addressed. Real men are men who surrender to Jesus obey his commandments, take a stand, protect not fear to forfeit their lives 'no greater deed then he who sacrifices his live for a friend', but marriage is NOT a must neither having children, intergrity...

correct! The church today is not as it used to be, see marriage is a choice, as mentioned in my initial comment, back by Scripture, Jesus and most who followed him and furthered his Ministry was not married... Pastor Mark is failing on providing one side of the Biblical narrative, that is wrong. I respect his willingness in teaching men to be MEN more like Christ but him skipping what Paul for one said "it is better for a man not to be married, but not all men are like me, so better to be married then and not engage in sexual immorality...." This sounds more like personal venting, than a sermon. There is no such thing as a "Jezebel spirit". Show me in Scripture where there is a spirit of Jezebel. She was a real flesh and blood woman. And although she may be a template for women who shipwreck their faith, there is not a spirit named "Jezebel". This is why your credibility takes big hits. Stick to the Scriptures, not pop Christian culture.
