whomikaun not that I disagree. However, Working for someone as well as doing something on your own and then looking for customers and/or funding is part of the same system. There is no escaping it. . If one is born into slavery then one must use their physical as well as intellectual capacity to come out of it.. How and where you do it is ur choice.. You can climb up the corporate ladder or service clients and customers as an entrepreneur, is a choice with their own pros and cons..

Never choose opportunity if you're uncomfortable working there. There are a lot of people who actually fake passion not because they're good at it but it's the new trend.

Much needed video in today's time. Please, stress more on this topic, a major chunk of today's youth is suffering from this disease called "Show Off/Cool Factor/Being unique". Faking a trendy passion is one of the many symptoms of this disease. Partying, wearing cool, following ONLY the cool(GOT/Wolverine/Sherlock), uncommon behaviors (showing I am tough/I've got some attitude/I don't care) and hundreds of such things. When will we realize that nature itself is taking care of making us unique right from the birth? We just need to accept and be OK with slight uniqueness we possess right from the beginning of our life. Struggling ONLY to be unique/cool ignoring the realities will lead you nowhere but make you a shining moon with no light of its own. Better to be a remotely shining tiny star than being the brightly shining moon with leased light.

I absolutely loved this video! In the beginning somewhere I thought that the makers were trying to discourage people from following their dreams cuz nowadays it has become trendy to follow your "passion" for the sake of being cool. But the message towards the end of the video was so good and I totally agree with it. You should definitely do something in life that makes you happy cuz 'live only once'. But for that you need a proper financial plan to move forward in life. And believe me, even the coolest jobs are not as easy as you think and people work very hard to make them look so cool. The video was amazing 😃

bhai mei previous generation ka hu. 2005 graduate. Luckily graduate hote hi naukri lag gayi and I went to Bangalore. Of course IT job. You won't believe, us time pe bhi DSLR and Bullet were the most wannabe things to do. There was a funny article at that time where someone had written that DSLR and Bullet cured male menopause. Cut to 2020, making new mobile apps and launching online startups are the new DSLRs and Bullets. Underlying phenomena is the same: following the herd mentality to try and look 'different' which is self-contradictory and hence a sure recipe to failure. Disclaimer: I have never owned a DSLR or a bike. I bought an Activa only when it was absolutely necessary, mostly to lug groceries from hypermalls to my apartment (of course rented. I am not a fool that I would buy into asset price bubble) :D

good humour throughout, very well scripted. i am kinda enlightened as well as confused at the moment.... see, I love music production, n i ve been doing it since 2011 when i was in 11th standard (similarly started....just to show off and all, and later on i really started loving what i was doing).... i did engineering after that (have few backlogs), but still kept doing music and sfx for short films, built a KZread channel, that deals with few genres. But very less people whom i know supported me (few of my friends genuinely do..... not my family, they are literally scared) everyone thinks that i can't earn good in this field, and if i dont earn good then i wont be able to look after my parents..... basically, i sit in front of my Digital Audio Workstation every morning, compose music, sometimes upload them on KZread, program or produce for few other people I know...... this is what i do.... i don't know how can I feed my stomach with the passion I have, coz it's for a long term.... i am sure that I can never leave my passion ever in life

I really like the message in this video. Youngsters these days want to do crazy shit thinking that its their passion but in reality its just a hoax to impress others. '9-5 detention nahi, discipline hai. Aur yeh apne passion ke sath bhi karna padta hai'. Thats just so true. Its very easy to say stuff like I am going to be a photographer from now, but its really tough to put in the thousands of hours over the years to become a good photographer. People just dont think about the entire picture.
