Thank God i passed my Hesi exam yesterday with 82.5%. Nurse Shai maths video was really helpful. Vocabulary was my lowest score but thank God I passed over-all.

My test was on March 23rd of this year, and I studied for about 2 weeks. I had taken A&P about 2 years ago. Thanks to your advice, I passed with a 92.4% ! 🥳 the quizlet SUPER helped (I got 100% on A&P), Nursehub as well (mainly for math, grammar and reading comprehension), and the elsevier HESI book that was recommended by my school (some of its content of A&P was in the exam). Ugh, I wish I would’ve studied the quizlet notes on Vocab bc that was my lowest score (86%). I studied vocab from nursehub and the hesi book, but I guess it wasn’t enough. But then again, I only studied for 2 weeks lol Thank you again, girl!!! Im so relieved that Im over with the test and passed with an A 🥰

Due to it being used nationwide for entry into most nursing programs I believe it’s the same for all states! With that being said of course no exam is exactly the same and they switch some of the questions but they all contain the same general information. In regards to the A&P it was literally the same questions from the Quizlet (I scored 100% by using the Quizlet) there were other videos on here saying the same thing and when I got to my test I honestly couldn’t believe they were right! Of course JUST IN CASE I still highly recommend using NurseHub to take more practice exams for all subjects your test require, study the answers, and understand why an answers are correct. Yesssss. I’m in the same boat as you. It’s been 12 years since I went to school. I took the Hesi without studying and got 60%. These tips and studying info has made me feel wayyyyyy more confident. I retake my test today. I’ll let you know 😊

EMOTIONAL DAHMAGE FOR SHOREEE

I just took it again for the second time with Gcu and still didn’t pass I scored the same I did for three weeks. But I also was out of town on vacation and I had my husband home after 13 weeks too, but I scored the same as I did three weeks ago, but my math went up.

If you're given 4hrs how do you break them up into sections? do you try to rush through one section in order to get more time for other sections?

You will have 4 hours to take the entire exam. You do have to watch the clock to make sure you’re not spending to much time on one specific section, but you don’t have any time restraints for each section individually

Hi, did they provide you with a periodic table or did you have to memorize all of the common elements and their atomic number?

You don’t have to memorize the periodic table, you just need to understand what makes up the atomic number, mass number, isotopes, what’s inside the nucleus, be able to locate the mass and atomic number if the show you the element, know how to get the number of protons/neutrons/electrons if one item was missing.. things like that! I hope this helps ☺️

Hey! For math there were a lot of proportions, conversions, and fractions problems. The chemistry portion had a lot of the basic things you learned in high school like stoichiometry, scientific notation, and etc.. Definitely check out Nurse Shai on KZread and watch her videos and write the notes down! Then do practice exams (I have some linked in the description). As far as A&P all of the questions I had were the exact same as the Quizlet I mentioned (in description as well). GOOD LUCK!! You’ll be fine and will pass, just use the resources I mentioned! It’s not as bad as you think it’ll be but you definitely should prepare ☺️🤍

@@TanyaRomelus that’s okay!! There was some math questions that involved stoichiometry but it was very basic, 3 steps at the most! Study your prefixes - kilo, deci,centi,etc. and be able to convert them to other units), the structure of of an atom, the components of the periodic table, the differences between a solute, solvent, and solution, scientific notation, the different types of bonds (ionic, covalent, hydrogen, etc.). I definitely understand your anxiety but you got this!!
