I've hit 190 a couple of times. It's amazing how quickly you run out of room. Even if you find a huge space ahead of you, you're closing the gap to the cars in front of you by 120 mph. It's like coming up on a brick wall at 120 mph. You have to do some serious braking to not hit the cars only doing 70.

Many years ago, a buddy and I decided to head to a diner "up the road" during our lunch break. Come to found out, it was a lot further away than we thought. By the time we got there, it was almost time to come back. We wolfed down our lunch and then he suggested I hit top speed on my bike on the way back. It was a Kawasaki ZX-11, so that's 176 mph. I told him to hang on, and pinned it. We got back "very quickly". Years alter, he still remembers that ride.

Sad to see someone that hates themselves so much, and cares not for all the innocent people around, they drive in a manner that would not only assure their own death, if all the stars didn't align in their favor, but would assure the death of completly innocent bystanders and law enforcement. That said, some simple tips to help you stay a little safer, one of which saved my life. Stay to the right, unlike some of the bad drivers in this video. And, always PROPERLY use your signal. Signal your intentions, not your completions. I signaled inside my own city and within seconds a felon flew by me on the left going 100 miles an hour inside the city on a Sunday evening (still light out). The police chasing later told me that the truck was in my lane coming at that speed but moved to the left when I signaled to the right. They said there is no way I would have seen him that far away at that speed, and my proper use of my signal probably saved my life. Point being, following traffic laws gives everyone a better chance of making it where your going.

I don't understand how this man managed to hold the steering wheel, commentate, look at the speedometer, keep an eye out for cops and record all at the same time. This man's multitasking and stupidity is next level.

There's no chance it could possibly catch up as he'd be 3 miles down the street by the time the charger hits top speed and i dont think ive ever seen police dashcam where a charger went over like 115-120

When I was a kid, one afternoonI was going under the east most overpass/exit (eastbound) on interstate 10 near Jennings, La. I was playing around in my 1969 Firebird doing 125 mph and when I came out from the overpass, there was a State Trooper sitting there with his radar pointed right at me. I went by him so fast that he barely had time to spin his head around to watch me fly past him. 125 mph ain’t nuthin’ compared to this guy though. I never went over 145 mph because I had all 4 RECAPS!!! on my car lmao!! (I did mention I was a dumb kid, didn’t I?) The cop didn’t even start his car. Lol. AND….Thank God he didn’t because ya can’t outrun a radio. 😊 How I could afford a practically brand new ‘69 Firebird but couldn’t afford tires for it is a whole ‘nuther story. 😂

Legit they won't pursue after a high enough speed. Like if it takes them 15 seconds to reverse and get on your side of the road, you're already 1/3rd of a mile away, let alone how long it'd take them to hit their top speed...Which outside of special model police cars in Dubai or other one offs are gonna be around 130-150 top speed. Even the Chargers and Ford Police Interceptor Sedans are limited to 150 mph. The only one faster, which is a pretty uncommon one is the Caprice PPV at like 155.

demonbull88 the reason that they won’t pursue you at speeds like that usually isn’t because they can’t catch you, although at is sometimes a big factor, but because pursuing you could cause more harm then good by causing you to behaving even more erratically then just driving well above the speed limit, and would likely cause your death and the deaths of others.

At that point you have 2 options. Out run them, or stop. 1 you get a ticket and jail no matter what, the other you might get away. If you're already going that fast its gonna be so hard for them to even get to a speed possible of catching you. So once you put distance between you, you just chill and hope there's no cops ahead.
