The rectangular neon lighted alarm clock saying 4:52am, it's a school night in the depth of winter. My window left open for a light breeze but it became a tunnel for gusts of wind. I look outside to see a snowy ghost town, cars packed with snow and houses as well. A scary but cozy feeling across my body, Chills abrupt causing nostalgic memories to flood my mind reminding me of the good times. My phone says it's a blizzard and that schools are likely to be canceled. I lay in my bed contemplating my future and knowing that anything can happen and that the world is nothing but unlimited opportunities to be discovered. I feel the breeze go over my body again reminding me of the snowball fights I had with my brothers before they moved out and how much I love them. I then reminisce in my old friendships and wonder how my old and no longer friends are doing. I tend to move to these moments in sad times to remind me that winter comes every year and that the days we live in now will become my nostalgic memories later. I crave those nights where every thing just becomes involuntarily extraordinary.
