Hmm, I would say so. But it's a little more like you had no idea you loved this person romantically till you lost them. It even says in the lyrics, "only love her when you *let her go."* Yes, you did everything together but an event took place. You lost them either through death or parting of ways.

I feel like i messed up on someone i had.. Realizing what you had after you lose it is the worse pain you will ever experience ever. I feel like i could’ve been a better girlfriend if I just talked about my feelings but I kept my mouth shut thinking that would fix all of my problems but now that I have thought about everything I just realize how stupid I was in the past. I could have fixed our relationship and made them better and I could’ve been with him for longer and it would’ve lasted. But in the end. It ended with him making fun of me and talking about me and him hating me to the point he started making other people hate me. I understand I’m not always a good person but I do believe I have changed and that I’m better now that I realize my worth. I just wanted to say this mainly because if you ever think of breaking up with someone just let them explain themselves before you do it. I promise it all gets better. I’m so sorry to people I’ve lost or hurt in the past but I hope you’re doing well and staying healthy. I hope you know I’m always thinking of you.
