Everybody's here talking about there crushes and girlfriend's and I get how I mean it is "let her go" HER* ,but idk why but this make me remember my grandpa, he died infront of me. As a 8 year old I didn't know what to do, I screamed for help but nobody came, I held him in my arms but all I could to was cry. Ugh. I know it isn't my fault but I couldn't help but feel regret I just felt I could have done something. But I'm fine now, I know my grandfather wouldn't want me to live my life full of regret when I already have too much burden on my hands. And I also want to live my life happily for him, but at the moment I'm only trying. Life is hard at the moment. With my mom. My dad's death. Family problems. Mental and physical problems. But I'm fine. Because I know my dad and grandpa wouldn't want me sad. All they wanted for me was happiness so I'll do my best at being happy. I used to cry at this song but now I only have a sad smile. Nothing stays forever ,learn to forgive others and forgive yourself. Life is too short to feel nothing but regret, hopelessness,sadness,anger,hate and such. Even when times are hard just know that there is light of the sunrise after the darkness of the night. Even though I'm still in that darkness ,I'm still very young and I still have hope.

This reminds me of my parents divorce. My dad was on his knees trying to pull me back from going with my mum. He was begging and begging. I was confused. I didn’t understand, my father was abusive. Why would he want me? I miss him, even though he was abusive. I just wish that I could go back and tell him that I loved him. It’s impossible. He’s miles away. It’s his birthday today and I remember this was his favourite song to listen to after my parents fought. To everyone dealing with stories like mine, just know there is an ending to *everything* and you *will* get through it.

This song reminds me of my grandma.. Since I was little, she always likes me. She even makes me my favorite food.. But I don't want to be with her, I want to stay away from her.. We're a Christian. But our church serves God on Saturday.. One day, she comes to the church that I'm staying and she stays there for the whole day.. We already have a good relationship, and I'm already comfortable when I'm with her.. But I don't know that it will be the last time I saw and talk to her.. Since then, I regret my attitude to her.. I realized that my attitude towards her is so wrong.. I never forgive myself since that day, and this song really touch my heart.. This song reminds me of her, and one of the lyric " Only know you love her when you let her go " reminds me that I felt guilty and love her after she left me, after she left my family and her kids.. But I know now, that she's now in peace.. She will never be hurted again.. She has a kidney failure, and I know that now she'll never be in pain anymore.. i feel bad for both.. because my father is alive but he is possesed by a demon and he started to hit my mother and i had a very sad time he was stuck with the devil for almost 7 years.. and he is only getting worse by, now when my mother tried to call the cops he acted normal so they didnt capture him, and me and my sister treated him rudely for almost 5 years.. and when i noticed he was possesed.. i never forgave myself for treating him rudely, and im only 13 and he never went to church since the demon entered him, even if this sounds fake to you its your choice to believe it or not, my dad aslo had a very sad life his mom died because of my dad's father beat my dad's mother to death for some reason, im also a christian but both of you had more sad days than mine... now that i read your story, i realised of how sad other people's life are, im very sorry for your loses but all our loses will still be in our hearts. its all part of gods plan.. even if it isnt a good plan things can still change... no matter what happens, god will always be there for everyone.. there will always be happines around the world. and after reading your comment i realised i have been forgeting about my dad, and thats why i made this comment thank you for letting me remember him.

This reminds me of the fact we only miss happiness when we are sad and that we should cherish and live happy moments as we live the sad ones

we broke up today, damn does it hurt , we’ve broken up a few times before and always came back to each other . this time it’s for good. she’s really gone. it’s hard to not cry. i am going to miss her. update .... we got back together again. so yeah it’s kinda crazy , she going to college now so long distance is gonna be hard. but we will make it through

I almost died, and I thought of this song. I swear to god this song made me come back to life, I had a car accident about 2 months ago, I crashed into a freeway divider doing 80+, I remember the car flipping over and hitting a tree, after that I woke up and I could see my blood squirting out of my arm.. I was playing this song in my car at the time, and in my head the whole time, I shouldn’t have been driving that night, I had one too many, I had angels with me that night. THANK GOD!

ugh everything is so sad now.

sometimes i feel like crying

I always cry to this song. First time I ever hear it was on the way back from taking my mom to hospital because she was close to dying of one of her illnesses. I was only 6 and just the lyrics made me cry. I know this song is probably about a breakup but to me it’s something else

I love how a song can be about anything, for me, it’s my dad not being present enough

I feel like people these days can rely on literally anything to calm ourselves down after a long day and this song is a definite way of calming anyone down
