I met Gerard. I spoke with him several times. He loves ☕ coffee. Sugar no cream. I didn't even know who he was as an artist, so I got to meet him as a person. The person he is has a wonderfully creative mind. I feel blessed to have met him in this way. Not a fangirl just a person.

I met Gerard in 2003 at Hell Fest in NY standing near the stage waiting to watch a little known band called Murder by Death and we chatted for a bit and he told me to watch the band and that they were among the best bands in the 3 day hardcore/punk/indie festival and he was right! I was so grateful that he introduced me to those guys! Super nice dude

I'm fascinated each time I hear Gerard speak- so gentle in contrast to the deep passion and "anger" in my chem vocals 💕

First concert I ever went to was MCR Black Parade tour in Chicago Illinois, i was 13 years old. I'll never forget that concert or what this band meant to me. Long Live the Black Parade!

Oh man, I hoped to see Gerard on the show, but wasn't sure if it'd actually happen. It's SUCH a delight to see to of your favourite bands colliding like that. Hopefully I'll be able to catch a show with both of you if/when the pandemic ends. Watching this series, I think my main takeaway is how much smart phones and voice memos have become as tools in the creative process, haha. Thanks for all your work on this!

I haven’t really sat down and watched an entire interview with Gee in so long. It’s sweet to see him doing so well. I’m genuinely happy for him, he worked so hard, he’s been through sooooo much and I’ll always be proud of him. He deserves everything great and positive. There will always be a place in my heart for him ❤️

Gee's hair is so pretty :) I love hearing him talk about pretty much anything. He's my biggest idol, the reason I could survive my teen years a little better and a great inspiration as an adult now.

14:21 I had no idea how to describe the mind of the musician but Gerard has gotten the closest to how I feel when I just go about daily life and am surrounded by constant music coming into my head no matter what I'm doing.

Honestly, I could listen to Gerard talking about my chem songwriting processes for days

Watching this now after Doug’s death is really heartbreaking. It sounds like he and Gerard had a really beautiful creative friendship. I hope that after ending the tour and returning home, Gerard is able to step back into that studio and keep writing music, but unfortunately it’ll be hard for him.
