PASS OF GLENCOE, SCOTLAND - APRIL 2023 - DRONE WITH A VIEW - {4K} - DRONE FOOTAGE

Glencoe hardly needs introducing as one of Scotland’s most dramatic and famous glens. Its fame is done no harm by awe-inspiring views even from the car. Approaching from the southeast, the A82 climbs via wide hairpins onto a fast road across the barren expanse of Rannoch Moor, dotted with lochans which are often frozen in winter. Gradually, majestic peaks begin to rise out of the flat landscape ahead: Glencoe Mountain ski centre on Meall a’ Bhùiridh the first main landmark. The crowning jewel is next in line: Buachaille Etive Mòr - possibly Scotland’s most iconic mountain, showing off its best side to motorists. The glen narrows beyond with further peaks and ridges towering on either side. After a series of sharp bends (The Study) with a waterfall to delight eastbound passengers, the magnificent Three Sisters viewpoint is reached, usually full with tour buses and cars. Following this the rocky walls relent a little, before the pass terminates at Glencoe village on the shores of Loch Leven.
The music is by Scott Buckley, the song is called Path Through The Mountains and it can be found on his website www.scottbuckley.com
The flight was recorded on a DJI Mini 3 Pro, sub 250 gram drone, following the sub 250 gram drone laws

Hi Stephen, thanks. I did not want to leave, a week is not long enough to see a lot. One day I drove over 300 miles to see as much as I could.
