In 2014-2015 I applied to damn near every agency LAPD, LASD, GPD, BPD, SMPD and got rejected for the dumbest things and yes I passed the written and physical exams. Now they need applicants imagine that. Good luck 👍🏼

Yup they cry wolf to the media when in reality they reject anyone who tries because of something small and stupid from 15 years ago.

No question some in law enforcement are bad apples but many I believe really care. When you have a public that is confussed because, in my opinion, they won't law enforcement around when they've got a problem. But when something goes wrong, It's law forcement's fault. Not that it applies to this situation but how many times do you have to tell somebody to drop it before it comes to a matter of his life for yours. If you think you can do better then maybe you need to earn a badge and get hit the streets.

The general population needs to get over it !!!! The GENERAL POPULATION should work one ☝️ day in law enforcement shoes 👞 👞 ! They call for help from the Department and then they turn on their own Law enforcement officers.. Perhaps they should all go live in HATI !!! awe need LAW ENFORCEMENT NOW MORE THAN EVER!!!

There is NO WAY I would risk being out there with the insanity on the streets that we arent allowed to touch-homeless addicts, people who should be 5150'd that can't be thanks to advocate group lawsuits, drugs that make people psychotic, derelicts with machetes..no way, no how. All I hear from officers is that their "hands are tied" and that there is nothing they can do. Then when they do arrest them, Gascon lets them all out again. What exactly would be the reward in being an officer in LA these days?

Some people don’t want to be police because they’re seeing large groups of troublemakers or protesters outnumbering police & many times are not allowed to use much force against aggressive crowds, leaving them vulnerable to get hurt.
