That was nice to see 👍 I’ll attend next year to see people and products and listen in on lots of Astro stories from ancient Danish territory. And maybe have a pint or 2 in good company.

Absolutely agree - I bought my first telescope the 115 edtx from Altair and it’s really nice to put voices and faces on Ian and the guys 👍

Fabulous video Glenn, like others have said, despite my mug in your camera, it was brilliant listening to the other vendors there, a great angle on how these shows build and engage with so many amazing enthusiasts. Nice to see innovation in products, feeling better knowing there are plenty of 60+ and retired like me going Strong, & good to see Simon Bennett, always a very helpful guy.. I miss David Hinds but still have his 9.25 American SCT, still a really nice scope ...sold a lot of my gear now so down to four good scopes and a few mounts (wife says we're on a budget now) ...good vid Glen..

Simon is a very helpful guy and kindly gave me his time. 4 scope should have you covered for most targets but the problem with this hobby is there is always new stuff that we just must have....budget!,,,what budget? lol

Excellent video Glenn, nice to see who is there and what they have to offer. Probably just as well it's a bit far for me to get to as I would have a field day in there spending my ill gotten gains. Nice to see Telescope House is still around, I remember when they used to be Broadhurst Clarkson and Fuller. I've still got brochures of theirs from 40 years ago (spent countless hours drooling over pictures of Newtonians etc in my distant youth)

Hi Pat. Yes so many toys. Robin’s new tool in Sharpcap was really impressive, i was unable to show in video as he had a queue of people waiting to talk with him but it worked superbly with solar and Luna too. I will be trying it out when I get a chance. Skies are still rough but fingers crossed.

Like everything expensive these days, demographics dictates who just can afford what, great video Glenn.

Everything does seem to cost more and more lately. Astro as a hobby has always been expensive but there is some hope. The new cooled 585 camera thats been released and proving popular as its around £500 new. Still not cheap but a move in the right direction.
