I’m a new safety coordinator at an injection molding plant and these videos are literally life savers for me. THANK YOU! We just had a small fire due to a stuck runner that went in noticed and plastic was bleeding out and building up on the injector. Instantly took myself to KZread and I’m super happy I found this channel

That was pretty helpful! But I got a case were a smaller part of the product is sticking, almost 95 percent is of the product is ejected but not this part. Any suggestion for that?

Some times once you add the hold pressure the parts wont stick. If they still stick then you need some undercuts or some kind of a puller to help. Thanks for watching and the support to the channel.

Could you please make a video about cushion inconsistency. I have seen it where the cushion buttons out and then goes back to 10mm cushion and drop back again to 3 and so on.

Curious to know what the transfer part looks like ( part without hold pressure). Maybe it could have been over packed. What is the normal part weight vs what was being molded?

  • @injectionmoldingskillsmore1064

Most of the time you fill the part or parts out 95% to 98% full. Then you add hold or pack at half of the injection PSI.

If its processed correctly you should be able to take the hold or park pressure off & have a part that is 95% to 98% full ( If processed right lol).
