Hey Bro...do you know anything about putting a 4.4L TDV8 (Range Rover engine) in a Discovery 4 ? I believe Ford makes these engines, branded as Ford Lion. They also make the TDV6 that currently goes in the Discovery 4. I've seen only one on KZread but there was no detailed explanation on how its done. I'd love to get your thoughts on this. I'm pulling the trigger on getting a discovery 4 with under 200K miles. Once that engine is kaput, i want to replace with a TDV8

It surely can be done. However, it’s not a direct swap. A few Modz need to be done e.g mounting points, coolant lines, radiator and intercooler, wiring harness and loom etc
