Hi Jerry, Thanks for your nice comments. My concept for developing the jig is to make Kumiko like knitting on a sofa. So that everyone can enjoy Kumiko👍🏻

Very clever jig!

Quick question aren’t you also sanding your flat surface that your sanding block is riding on making it uneven over time…. Could you use a small block plane on this jig…. Great video, Rob from Deep River,Ontario 🇨🇦

Hi! The horizontal part of the jig is structured to support the handle of the sanding block, so the angle at which the part is shaved does not change for a long time. If you put a plane on it, it will be scraped off, so it is not designed for such use.
