Kasarova such a phenomenal singer with marvelous - unique color of voice!
She is unique especially in trouser roles where her personal timbre really shimmers! Those low notes are fascinating!
This is one of the great voices.
Kasarova has grown on me over the years. One loves her for her over the top performances. She is all there.
Diese Stimme rührt mich doch regelmäßig zu Tränen. Warum das so ist, kann man auch den Interviews mit Vesselina Kasarova entnehmen. Sie lebt ihren Beruf. Sie gibt alles um dem Zuhörer die Intention des Komponisten zu vermitteln. Das ist ihr wichtiger als jede Technik. Der Sängerberuf ist ihr heilig. Ihre Zürich Aufnahme hier auf youtube ist meines Erachtens mindestens genauso gut wenn nicht sogar noch besser. Obwohl besser als genial ist schon sehr schwierig.

+theinkbrain I don't know if it is the best, but it is certainly good - and right to the voice of Vessilina. And Mozart really puts the clarinettes to the test.

Die ultimative Aufnahme. Hab schon einige gehört. Große Namen, die ich alle gar nicht explizit ins Rennen werfen möchte. Keine, nicht mal ansatzweise, schafft es derart herzergreifend, die Spannung zu halten, die Phrasierungen derart tiefgehend zu gestalten. Vielleicht noch am ehesten Marianne Crebassa unter Currentzis. Ein Ritartando da, um die Spannung zu hallten, ein etwas zurückhaltender gehauchtes Piano dort. Alles immer auf Spannung, voller Leben und Energie. Natürlich alles basierend auf dem Dirigat eines Meisters, der leider nicht mehr unter uns weilt: Ruhe in Frieden Nikolaus Harnoncourt.

It's cool, but... I think someone needs to tell her she's singing Mozart, not Bel Canto, lol...
coloratura Out of tunning. she has not the "morbidezza nella voce" to sing belcanto. russian tecnic, hard. no mozart. horrible. Just my opinion.
